Our journey begins at Fort James, situated in Plymouth, the largest village on the Caribbean side. Here, visitors can delve into the history of Tobago, explore the renowned “Mystery Tombstone,” and discover the 17th-century ruins. The inscriptions on the tombstone intrigue all who read them, sparking fascinating conversations. Enjoy a breathtaking view overlooking three bays. The tour continues along the Caribbean side, stopping at a 200-year-old Silk Cotton Tree, before reaching the Mount Dillon Lookout, offering a stunning view of Castara, a quaint fishing village, and the pristine coastline. From there, the tour descends into Castara, providing an opportunity to experience a traditional fishing village. The next destination is Englishman’s Bay, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, where the rainforest nearly touches the emerald turquoise waters of the untouched bay.
The journey then proceeds to Parlatuvier, another spectacular bay. A delightful lunch can be enjoyed at the renowned “Jemma’s Seaview Kitchen,” a restaurant in Speyside built on the beach and around a tree (not included in the price). Savor delicious local cuisine. The final stop is the “center of the North,” Charlottesville, where “Flagstaff Hill” offers one of Tobago’s most breathtaking views.
In the afternoon, the tour travels along the Atlantic coast to Scarborough for the final stop at Fort King George. This is the island’s best-preserved fort, offering a stunning view of the capital, Scarborough.
