Guided by an Environmental Hiking Guide and Marine Biologists, we’ll navigate through the unique marine ecosystems teeming with biodiversity. Our journey begins at the small beach near the L’Approdo Nautical Club, where we’ll conduct a brief introductory course on kayaking and canoeing. Once comfortable with our vessels, we’ll paddle southwards, dive in for Archaeological Snorkeling, and marvel at the renowned submerged Roman columns resting on the sandy seabed just 4 meters deep.

We will explore the Marine Protected Area of Porto Cesareo aboard our Kayaks and Canoes, easy to handle and safe. Always accompanied and guided by an Environmental Hiking Guide, an instructor and a Marine Biologist, we will make you experience a unique adventure to discover this wonderful natural environment. We will snorkel to discover the submerged treasures of the Marine Protected Area, we will learn about marine biodiversity, fish, octopus, starfish and beautiful and harmless multicolored jellyfish. We will transform into underwater archaeologists and observe the famous submerged Roman columns, lying a few meters deep. We may spot sea turtles and, if lucky, the large and harmless basking shark. Get ready for a one-of-a-kind adventure, to be enjoyed with the whole family. Our excursions are suitable for everyone and extremely safe. Our certified guides and instructors together with marine biologists will guide you on this wonderful adventure.

We will meet at the Free Beach of Torre Chianca, here the Naturale Salento Staff will be waiting for you, the free beach is served by two beaches: Hoana Beach & Restaurant and The Beach Sofia, where you can find all the services such as bathrooms, showers, bars and Restaurant.

Recommended for children and adults - It's been so much fun! The kids (and adults!) enjoyed it a lot, a beautiful environment, we would do it again (this time paddling better hahaha)

Wonderful - Found this kayaking experience here on TripAdvisor while planning our Italian holiday and I'm really glad I did.
The day before the kayaking trip, we received all information via WhatsApp and even got a call to double check that we did get all key information safely. The following day was hot, with temperatures of up to 36 degrees, so the organisers communicated with us in in advance about delaying the excursion by an hour - for when the sunshine would be a little less strong.
Francesco met the group at a specified place, prepared all kayaks, ensured everyone's stuff was safe and dry and ever since then was just an all-around fabulous kayaking leader. He kept checking on everyone and shared stories, marine knowledge (and he also works as a marine biologist) and his passion for the sea/environment & slow tourism. He took photos of us and shared those via Whatsapp in the end.
Overall, this is a really lovely, authentic/unpretentious experience with a big hear and lots of nice touches. We wish Naturalmente Salento all the best in the future!

Danger escaped - Nice, very tiring experience
Disappointed expectations
Especially because the guide returned without helping my husband get back into the canoe, leaving him in serious difficulty having to swim back at least 500 meters from the shore.

A quick canoë tour - We came in advance at the club to eat but we were ignored and décided to go to another place. Concerning thé canoë trip thé guide was great. But not muxh to see. So I advise just to rent.

Nice to be out on the water. - They changed our booking at short notice from morning to afternoon Said it was too windy (total BS)
Tour started 45 min late. First paddle was to a protected marine park supposedly pristine but there would have 50 boats with anchors out a few little fish to be seen. 2 nd island was again about the same nothing doing.
It was lovely to be out on the water but honestly hire a kayak your self and forget about these pretenders

Very sad and disappointing experience - Excursion confirmed by the organizer the day before. At the meeting place (10 am) there was no one. Phone calls and empty messages for almost an hour. Locals, questioned, gave us bad feedback, saying that these episodes occur frequently with the most disparate excuses and reading here, other reviews confirm this. After a long time we are informed by message that there has been a problem with the car, the organizer can not come and if we want we can join the afternoon group (3 pm ) Do 60km empty between round trip and lost customers. Never again!

Lack of professionalism - No one showed up at the meeting place. I had sent a message the day before to be sure of the reservation... with no response. In the morning, no response. Reading the comments I suspected that the operator was not very reliable, I confirm, they are not professional. Fortunately we found a structure close to the meeting point which rented kayaks for us!
It's a shame to screw people up like you do, I recommend future users of your services to, above all, avoid you!
On the other hand, I recommend the circolo nautico l’Approdo next door which was kind enough to rent us a kayak…

Last minute - tour cancelled! - As we were about to arrive for the tour, after a lengthy taxi ride ($200 EU), the tour cancelled on us via voicemail. They claimed in the voice mail and on the phone that the weather was bad. It was sunny, 81 degrees F, and the seas were incredibly calm. Though they have promised our money back (which we await the refund notice), we lost out on a tour that we really wanted to take and cannot rebook due to travel home. The taxi ride was paid for both directions - back to our lodging, 45km away so could not be refunded. Very disappointed in this group.

Null - We arrive on site with 4 adults and 4 children, total price 220 euros. We do not speak French contrary to what is advertised. Life vest for max 80kg, well it still fits 90 kg. The diving equipment is not suitable for children aged 8 to 11, it is too big. It's too windy so we don't go to the proposed island because it's too far away (I can understand), so we kayak 15 minutes to arrive at a replacement islet. The biologist guide talks to us for 5 minutes about the scientific aspect and then tells us that we cannot see the ruins underwater because we have children... we wander around the island for an hour, in any case we can just stay on the island which is 100m by 100m, and go snorkeling (well, we're not in Thailand either) but without our children because we have nothing suitable in size for them... we return by taking a detour to do a little more kayaking because I insist on children. The big scam.

No one there - Sadly the tour operators did not show up. We chatted with a man who had his sail boat in the same area and he said this happens often. Do not recommend.
