Excellent tour - The tour is a beautiful hike up Monkey Mountain to a peak with amazing views. Jaír was the guide and he was so knowledgeable and explained interesting facts all along the way. I am trying to learn Spanish and Jaír graciously let me practice speaking Spanish which I’m sure required a lot of patience on his part. I also learned a lot of interesting things about native plants and animals. The actual hike is just beautiful. I highly recommend this experience.

A great morning hike! - This was a great hike. All the travel arrangements were spot on. Jair was knowledgeable, and a kind, considerate guide. The three of us were over 65 and all in good shape but it still kicked our butt!! The last short section is quite a scramble. Views were beautiful. Hydrate well and use plenty of sunscreen and all will be well! A most enjoyable 4 hours.

View from the top is worth the walk. - Jair was a great guide. He set an easy pace, was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, and local history. It was very hot and humid so take lots of water. The view from the top was wonderful.

Great hike - Beautiful views. Great guide who told us all about the different fauna as we walked. Very interesting. The guide also had walking sticks for us to use since we are seniors. High recommend. Good value for the money

WOW ! - What a great adventure , Our guide Jair is simply the best !.He entertained us all through the walk , told us about the flora & the fauna, and then , you reach the summit. The view is breathtaking taking , a 360 degree view of mountains, oceans, villages and islands , it’s all there for you to see. On our way down we traded on our respectives customs , we even talked about our family recipes . A great way to visit and learn about the place and the people and an occasion to see more than what meets the eye ! Definitely a must on your list if you are visiting the area

Unforgettable Hike with an Amazing Guide! - One of the best hikes we’ve ever done! Jair is an incredible guide—polite, knowledgeable, and well-versed in the town’s history, Monkey Mountain, and the local wildlife and vegetation. We asked a lot of questions, and he either knew the answer or quickly found it, as there was cell service the entire way. The first half of the hike is easy, but the second half gets more challenging with steep inclines, and near the top, you’ll be stepping on and climbing boulders. But once you reach the summit, the views and photo opportunities make it all worth it. While not the easiest hike, we saw people of all ages and fitness levels making the trek. From the moment we met Jair at the Sayulita bus station, we felt comfortable—he even knew many of the people we encountered along the way. He also went above and beyond helping us organize transportation back to Puerto Vallarta. Overall, an outstanding adventure!
