The experience was eye... - The experience was eye opening and humbling. I learnt alot about the contributions of slaves to the history and economy of Savannah. I also learnt how the community worked together to help its nembers to freedom through the Church. Sistah did an excellent job with the narration of a history that we all need to know.

Best tour ever! - It was one of the best tours ever! Every time we travel - whether in the US or not - we go on a black history tour (because blacks have had an impact on the entire world). This was by far one of the best tours. Sistah Patt is not only knowledgeable, but she lives this work as an activist. We are still thinking about what she shared and researching. If could give 10 stars, I would!

Riveting Account of Savannah History - Sistah Patt provides a thoroughly engaging, educational, and moving telling of the story of Savannah’s people of color. The tour’s astonishing non-stop narrator for 3 hours, she covers large & small aspects of the city’s black history, both cultural and political: slave ships, the pens where people were kept before they were sold, slave markets, right down to African tribal elements in the ornate ironwork decorating Savannah. The tour’s final visit to a slave cemetery is a moment you will not soon forget.
