Impressed with Kelly Tours - This was a great tour! Steve was our tour guide for the afternoon. As a lifelong resident of Savannah, he had such a deep knowledge of the city, and was generous in sharing personal anecdotes of his family’s history. We booked a late afternoon tour, which worked perfectly for us, not only because it was discounted, but because we found it much more pleasant navigating the city at a quieter time than during the hustle and bustle of daytime.
We were pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Kelly Tours offering to pick us up near our hotel, which was so convenient! They also dropped us back at that same spot after the tour. Although we didn’t use it, they shared that we would be able to use the hop on/hop off trolley the following day, which was an added bonus.
We also booked the Savannah to Tybee Island with Dolphin Cruise Tour, not realizing it was also with Kelly Tours, and had another five star experience, so be sure to check that tour out as well!

Gray Line Tours Only! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our experience with Savannah Gray Line Tours was outstanding from start to finish. We took the Historic Trolley Tour with Henry, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining throughout the entire tour. Even though we had previously taken a tour with another company, Henry shared so much new history and interesting information that made this tour completely worthwhile and memorable. You can tell he truly loves Savannah and enjoys sharing its stories.
We also really appreciated the excellent customer service. Gray Line called ahead to check in with us, and the convenient pick-up and drop-off service made everything easy and stress-free. The entire experience felt organized, welcoming, and professional.

We also took the Tybee Island dolphin tour and lighthouse excursion with Dan, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! Dan kept everyone entertained the entire day with his humor and his Forrest Gump references, even introducing himself as “Capt’n Dan,” which made the tour even more fun. We loved how Savannah embraces its movie history and proudly points out connections to the famous park bench scene from Forrest Gump.
Our first stop was The Crab Shack for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious. The place itself felt like an adventure park with alligators and exotic birds that we could see and even feed. The dolphin tour was incredible — dolphins were swimming and playing right alongside our boat, which was such an unforgettable experience. Afterward, Dan brought us to the Tybee Island Lighthouse and gave us great recommendations for things to do and see while we explored.
Both tours exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend Savannah Gray Line Tours for anyone visiting the area!

Do this first in Savannah - This is a must for first time visitors to Savannah. Our driver, Harry, was so very informative. This tour showed us all around the historic district. We could then plan on where we wanted to go on our own. The bonus of having shuttle service for the next two days was wonderful! Kelly Tours is top notch!

Great Local Company with Great Drivers - Chris was our driver for the history tour. We really enjoyed the tour. Chris made things interesting and fun. Its a local company (not some corporate chain) that cares about their community. My wife has some mobility challenges and they were great about assisting where they were able to. A+++

The Tour is Solid But The Shuttle is a Real Plus - We booked this 90 minute tour in addition to a walking tour of the city. We saw a number of sites such as Forsythe Park that we didn't get to on the walking tour, but much of the tour and commentary was duplicative. Our driver guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and provided a solid overview. In our opinion, the real benefit of the tour is the unlimited shuttle service which you can use after the tour to visit in greater depth some of the areas you passed through on the bus tour. For two days, you have access to this service which with a phone call and a 10 minute or so wait at one of the many designated stops you can be picked up and delivered to another stop, including one near your accommodations assuming one is located there. It is a super convenient way to make your way around the city and explore many areas in depth. As I recall the shuttles run until 8 pm on many weekdays and 4:45 on weekends.

Excellent tour - The concierge at our hotel suggested and booked us on this tour and it was a perfect way to get a sense of Savannah’s historic district. Small group. Excellent guide. Plenty of space. Would highly recommend.
