Ken Rimes-Best Tour Guide EVER! - Ken Rimes, our tour guide through historical Savannah was amazing! He was knowledgeable. polite, great in his delivery, and a fabulous host to the city. We were able to enter the Wesley Church, stand and sing with him some Lowel Mason tunes, and learn so much more. We were laughing and having such a delightful time with him when a man approached from the other side of the square just to see what was happening. If you need a wonderful ambassador to show you his town, Ken Rimes is your man!

Informative - Our tour guide, Ken, was knowledgeable, willing to answer questions and even took us to a particular spot we asked to see. It’s a great way to learn about the area.

Take This Tour Early in Your Trip - Our original tour had to cancel, but the operator quickly offered us another option just an hour later. This worked out perfectly, as my husband and I were the only participants. We visited the cathedral, Forsythe Park, Colonial Park Cemetery and walked past dozens of famous homes (Flannery O'Connor, Mercer Williams House, Juliette Gordon Low home, among others). Our guide, Paschal, is a bit of a Renaissance man. Urban planning and theology training, historian and native of Savannah. He also does cemetery tours, so he discussed the art at Colonial Park cemetery. His family has lived in Savannah forever (ship #10 I think he said?) so he had hometown stories that others might not about some of the famous (infamous?) residents of the city. It was a long walk (I broke 12,000 steps that morning) but It was a great conversation. I wish I had booked this earlier In our trip! Highly recommend and will do it again when we return.

Take this tour! - Janine, our tour guide, did an excellent job showing us around the historic squares of Savannah. She was quite knowledgeable and shared interesting information with us. We were lucky and our family of four adults and one toddler were the only people on the tour. The two hour tour was the right amount of time for us. I would recommend this tour company and Janine to give you the highlights of historic Savannah.

Savannah Rocks! - Our guide Paschal was terrific. His knowledge of the region and passion for his work was evident throughout the tour. In spite of the heat, he kept the energy up and the tour moving along. We were thrilled that the tour went on even though we were a party of two. Thank you!

Our church group was left... - Our church group was left in the middle of a cemetery have no direction to the exit. We requested we requested an African-American history tour of Savannah. You were given a tour of the fourth squares downtown. We used our bus, our gas, our driver and paid $25 for a bus permit and paid $730. We did not get what we requested. And when our representatives contacted the owner of the company he made up conversation that never took place. Never ever, ever will we use viator again.

Worst Tour Ever!!! - I had high expectations for Savannah Scott Tours of Savannah, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. We specifically requested an African American history tour, but what we received was barely related to our request. The tour consisted of only Turner Square, the Methodist Church, and an hour in a cemetery. For $700, we expected a comprehensive and engaging exploration of African American history in Savannah, not a few scattered locations. To make matters worse, we had to use our own bus and cover our own gas expenses. Overall, this tour did not deliver value for the money and left us extremely disappointed. I would not recommend Savannah Scott Tours if you're looking for an informative and focused African American history experience.
