Wonderful tour of parts of Savannah’s history - Dennis was a very knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humor who kept the stories coming and the conversation flowing. He was also ready to answer any question the guests might have. The tour of Bonaventure Cemetery was a highlight. Dennis weaved together stories of Savannah’s prominent people with details about the craftsmen tasked with creating their opulent tombstones. It’s a photographer’s paradise with its live oaks, palms and other greenery. The fried shrimp lunch at Erica Davis Lowcountry was delish and fun. Wormsloe plantation was also very interesting and beautiful and Dennis did a wonderful job explaining the area’s significance. But it was disconcerting to see the museum omit any meaningful information about the plantation’s abundant use of enslaved people. Despite that disappointment, the grounds and the vegetation are lovely. It was a great way to spend a day in Savannah.

Amazing Albert - Albert was our guide with the mostest! He provided us with so much knowledge, humor and flexibility on our guided tour of Bonaventure & Wormsloe. He allowed all of us to veer towards our individual interests while still managing to wrangle us in...not easy with our group! He was a delight & I highly recommend Albert to everyone!

Thanks Albert!! - My partner and I recently took the Bonaventure Cemetery + Wormsloe State Historic Site Tour in Savannah, and it was outstanding from start to finish. Guide — ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We toured with Albert, and he was a gem. Super patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Even with our group being large (it can be awkward when “big tour group” = rushed commentary or lost travelers), Albert never made us feel like cattle being herded. He checked in, made space for questions, tailored highlights to our interests, and kept the energy friendly without being cheesy. We felt like we were in good hands the whole time. Experience & Pacing From the moss-draped oaks in Bonaventure to the historic ruins at Wormsloe, every stop felt meaningful. The tour never felt rushed, a tricky balance, especially with many people, but we had enough time to pause, absorb, snap photos, and listen. The transitions between sites were smooth and well managed. Lunch, Delicious, Relaxed, Zero Hurry One of the biggest pleasant surprises: lunch. It was so good. Fresh, flavorful, nicely presented. But beyond the food itself, the pace was perfect. We never felt pressed to eat fast or cut the meal short to “stick to schedule.” That added a layer of comfort and luxury to the experience. Group Size & Logistics Yes, it was a large group, but logistically, everything worked. We were never so crammed we felt awkward, never so spaced that we lost the group. The meeting times, transport, walking segments, all felt well thought out. The itinerary had just enough flexibility built in for small delays, which, in my book, is a mark of a seasoned operator. Final Thoughts If you’re pondering whether to take this tour, do it. Having a strong guide like Albert turned it from “just another sightseeing tour” into a genuinely memorable day. From landscapes that feel pulled from a dream, to a relaxed, delicious lunch, to feeling heard (and not rushed) even in a big group, this experience delivered. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. 5 out of 5.

Good learning experience,... - Good learning experience, beautiful natural history, good guide. Worth doing. Cemetery not quite as impressive as advertised - worth seeing but less time unless you value repeated glorification of Confederate soldiers and their iron cross paraphernalia. Confederate flags at state-run museum too worth seeing because it’s disgraceful but real.
