Fun morning - Excellent way to spend the morning. Good for kids and families and beginnwra. Its a short trip to seaglass island. Then fun treasure hunting on the island.

Kayaking to Seaglass Island - We had a great experience! Alex was a great guide and ensured everyone was comfortable kayaking to Seaglass Island. He was very helpful and informative helping us locate good search areas. Very knowledgeable about the island. Lots of fun!

If you love collecting beach glass, this is it! - We loved this. What an adventure. One of out group took a spill due to the winds and waves. Our guide Alex was awesome and took care of them. The island is such a treasure for those who love beach glass. Highly recommend and we will do it again when visiting again.

Sea Glass Island is a sacred place - Alex is knowledgeable about history of SGI. Lots of joyful encouragement. Thanks for his kindness and joyful heart. Selecting sea glass is meditative, calming, and a great way to pray and transmute suffering! I had no idea that it would be such a healing experience.

Awesome experience - Alex was amazing…and that led to an amazing experience for my husband and I. We were picked up promptly, Alex had so much information to share with us about Aruba, and he was a consummate professional! We often choose the start up companies become the experience just seems to be better, and this was the case this time! He is an expert on all things Aruba, kayaking, and sea glass! Thanks, Alex! Adventure and fun - Funny and light. Good for all ages a tour with amazing views and adventure on a scale. Easy to sail, easy crossing, attentive instructors and material/equipment in excellent condition.

Can be strenuous for some... - Can be strenuous for some people. . Tour guide Alex was very helpful and responsive to our needs . Was able to get a motor boat for those who had difficulty rowing

Timing is everything. Or maybe not? Also - wear the right footwear. - The guide was friendly and the sea glass island was an interesting experience but the kayaking across a strong wind and rocky shore definitely mean you'll be needing to be prepared. Water shoes (not slip on style) or hiking sandals are a must for walking safely on the island. Also rating this a 4/5 because the tour was supposed to start at 1 and due to traffic the guide and kayaks weren't there until after 1:15p. The instructions said arrive by 12:45p but it isnt a good thing when the staff/ equipment aren't there by then too (or earlier). No communication to advise the delay and no clear signage of the meeting spot meant we were guessing and wondering for 30 mins+ if we were at the correct meeting spot. The boat ramp is next to the the apartments given in the meetup instructions (opposite side of where Flying Fish is). It would've also been helpful to know which company the tour was with so we could look for that guide since many kayaking trips depart from the same area. On a positive note, the guide was well prepared with hand rakes, quart zip lock, and small bottles of water for us so we had all the tools for successful collection. Kayaks were in fairly good condition and life jackets were provided as well.

Fun, but not worth $500 - The experience overall was fun. The kayak “trip” was a bit underwhelming as it was only about five minutes of paddling. The “island” is more like a sandbar you could throw a rock to from the shore. Despite these things, we had fun. But $500 for a family of five is highway robbery. We did a three hour snorkeling cruise the day before for $300. Better experience and half the cost. If you really want to go to sea glass island, I would recommend renting a kayak, buying your own garden tools and ziplock bags, and saving yourself hundreds of dollars.
