Adventure to Camp 5 + Caving
Clearwater / Wind Show Caves - Upon arrival at Mulu Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our friendly representative. After lunch, they will be transferred by longboat to the Clearwater cave jetty to explore the Clearwater and Wind show caves. The adventure continues with a longboat ride to Long Litut, followed by a 3-hour jungle trek to Camp 5. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Camp 5.
The Trails & Longhouse Stay
Gunung Mulu National Park - After breakfast at Camp 5, the trek begins from Camp 5 along the trail to Kuala Terikan, which takes about 4-5 hours. The journey proceeds with a 3-4 hour longboat ride (depending on the boat engine and water level) to reach the longhouse on the Mendalam River. Guests will enjoy an overnight stay at the Iban longhouse.
Journey Conclusion & Departure
Limbang - After breakfast at the longhouse, guests will be transferred by longboat down the river to Nanga Medamit, followed by a road transfer to the town of Limbang. In the afternoon, they will be taken to Limbang airport for their flight back to Miri or their next destination.

The journey involves travel up the river, hiking through the jungle, exploring the display caves, and spending a night at an Iban longhouse. The path replicates the one used by Kayan tribal warriors who paddled upstream and trekked to embark on raids against the inhabitants of the Limbang region, thus earning it the name ‘Headhunter’s Trail’. This trail can also be taken in reverse, starting from Limbang and culminating at the Park HQ.
