- Bako National Park - The day starts with a pickup from selected locations in Kuching between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, followed by a delightful 35–40 minute drive to the Bako Carpark and Terminal. Upon arrival, the guide will meet the group and assist with the registration process before proceeding to Bako National Park. During the journey, enjoy views of mangrove forests, striking coastal cliffs, and renowned rock formations, with chances to spot wildlife such as crocodiles, sea eagles, and various shore birds.
- Bako National Park - Around 9:00 to 9:30 AM, the guided jungle adventure commences. Participants will explore Bako’s lush tropical rainforest and have the chance to observe some of the park’s extraordinary wildlife, including proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, silver leaf monkeys, bearded wild boars, and possibly flying squirrels, colugos, otters, tarsiers, or slow lorises. Bird lovers can enjoy sightings of both migratory and resident species, and the guide may also assist in searching for the elusive green pit viper.
By mid-afternoon, the group returns to the park headquarters to prepare for departure. The journey back to the Bako Carpark and Terminal area follows, leading to the return trip to Kuching, with arrival back at the hotel in the afternoon, concluding a memorable day of exploration at Bako National Park.

Brilliant family tour company - Honestly, we used AJ Borneo for 2 trips - wetlands and bako and the best time with our guides Anastasia and PE. They really know how to look after their guests and made both trips so personal towards our needs with our children. If you're considering a trip whilst in Kuching then please go ahead and use these guys, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for a wonderful 2 days

The Trip of a Lifetime - Our recent trip to Borneo was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional team at A.J. Borneo. Despite our short visit, we were able to experience a wide range of cultural and outdoor activities expertly curated by the team. The highlight of our journey was undoubtedly our visit to Bako National Park, where we were expertly led by the knowledgeable local guide PE.
The entire trip was meticulously organized by Asif Ansary, who paid close attention to our preferences and ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly. Our stay at The Waterfront Hotel, which he suggested, was nothing short of luxurious. The accommodations were lovely and the staff was friendly and obliging.
Our days were filled with interesting and immersive experiences led by our wonderful tour guide Anna. With her 40+ years experience she was well informed on many topics. The drivers were competent, punctual, and very helpful. Everyone was warm and friendly and eager to share their culture with us. We highly recommend this company without reservation. Amazing day in Bako - We had such a great day! Abang was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable about the park and its inhabitants. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

Very bad - Chaos not recommended !!!
Bus arrived at the Hilton one hour late. For more hours we had to wait until the boats left.
Then it was OK, but this is a violent march. Not for older or untrained people.
When we arrived by boat again at 16.30, the transfer bus was not. Wait 1 hour again.
