“Amazing day with family! Great time with our family! Captain Aaron was so personable and good with kids. We have been coming to the area for 20 years and this was a highlight for us. We were lucky to find a playful group of dolphins during our outing. We will book another tour when we are back in town. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!” - Reviewed on 2025-01-02
Afternoon Beachside Bliss
After a morning on the water, it’s time to hit the sands of Siesta Beach. Known for its powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters, this beach is a must-visit for any Sarasota itinerary. The weather is just right for a leisurely stroll or a game of beach volleyball. With temperatures peaking at a comfortable 71°F, you can enjoy the sun without the worry of overheating.
For those looking to explore further, consider joining the electric bike tour in the late afternoon. Available from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, this tour offers a unique way to experience America’s top-ranked beach. With state-of-the-art electric bikes, you can choose your level of exertion as you ride along the shoreline and through Siesta Key Village. The tour concludes with a delightful picnic of fresh fruit, wine, and cheese, making it a perfect family-friendly activity.
“Derek Delivers on the Sunset Tour. Derek is top notch as is his tours and his bikes. He was on time and so were we. The bikes were ready and as it turned out one group had an extra person along unknown and that was not a problem as he had an extra bike. His instruction for the bikes is spot on. But his attentiveness during the trip and local knowledge makes this go. Plus he is a fun guy and we had a good group too. The beach was a little busy in spots but mostly open. The big part is the wonderful sundown views. Derek got multiple pics of everyone in good angles too. He knows the area well. Yes we enjoyed it and we will be back too. Thanks from Texas!” - Reviewed on 2024-11-12

For a more laid-back evening, head back to Siesta Key for the flag-lowering ceremony at Patriot’s Point. This touching tribute to servicemen and women is a beautiful way to end your day, surrounded by the community and the soothing sounds of the bugle.
