Great tour made better by a great guide! - This tour was great, even in the pouring rain, and our tour guide Kenan (apologies if I've spelt that wrong!) was still enthusiastic and informative through the downpour. You could feel his passion for his home country and his enthusiasm, knowledge and company made this a tour I would definitely recommend to others to do. Living in Scotland you think you have the best of the countryside views with the Highlands and the Trossachs, but Bosnia has all that and more to surprise you with - even in the rain and mist! And finally, thank you to Kenan and the Meet Bosnia team for returning my mum's phone to us after we noticed it was missing - that's a mistake she won't be making again!!!

Great company and brilliant guide - recommend - We had a great time - our guide for the day was Kenan, he looked after us really well. It was brilliant to have someone who was so enthusiastic and so willing to share his own experiences. We didn’t just get to see the sites on the tour but also got to find out more about life in Bosnia. It was a long day but really well paced. The sites we went to were all very different and it was good to get a chance to see so much. The drive between Sarajevo and Mostar is spectacular. It was really easy to book the tour and communication from Meet Bosnia was great. Highly recommend them!

Excellent Experience! - I've joined this tour with my husband on March 10. Being a part of this tour is excellent experience for us. Our tour guide Senan is friendly and kind. He's prepared a sandwich for all of us and it's so delicious. This tour is about 12 hours and thanks for your patient Senan. Nice to meet you Meet Bosnia Tours, thanks for everything!

One of the most beautiful experiences ever on the road - The trip to Sarajevo was one of those that you do not forget and that leave the desire to return. A city that captures, charms and seduces and you end up falling in love with it. But this is also the case for the other places in Bosnia and Herzegovina we have seen and for the people we have been lucky enough to meet and get to know. Coming to the tour, we liked the idea of seeing something even outside the Capital and doing it with an Italian speaking guide to better understand (or at least try) the many facets of this emblematic country for mix of cultures, ethnicities, religions and, alas, even vicissitudes. We then got in touch with the guys at Meet Bosnia who arranged a private tour for us. Cost slightly higher ... but it was one of the best experiences of our lives 🥰. The tour took place on a Sunday, on my birthday and our escorts were Arna, as a guide, and Haris as a van driver. Arna, speaking almost perfect Italian, told us and described a lot of the places seen and past stories, and Haris took us far and wide saying few things in Italian, but always with sympathy and, of course, with him we talked a little 'football. But most of all, they both turned out to be really nice, sensitive and friendly people and they showed us the love they feel for their country in such a great and respectful way by managing, even in this way, to make us like it even more. With these premises, it could only come out a fantastic day despite having been very rainy. Leaving Sarajevo we set course for Konjic following the course of the Neretva river which amazed us for its scope and its color. Because of the rain we postponed the stop on the way back. The city has many resources and things to see/visit: its bridge (one of many destroyed and rebuilt), the woodcarving factory, Tito's bunker and river rafting... all ideas for a possible next trip. From here we arrived in Jablanica where the battle of the Neretva took place between Titini partisans and Nazi-fascist troops (they even made a famous film). There is also a museum on the WWII here and the village is famous for its spit-roasted lamb specialities from many restaurants. Afterwards we arrived in Mostar and visited the city with, probably, one of the most famous bridges, the one destroyed by Croatians during the war 30 years ago and whose reconstruction Italy also participated. In Mostar we also visited the mosque climbing the minaret from which you can enjoy a perfect view of the bridge and the surrounding village. Leaving Mostar we visited the Orthodox monastery of Žitomislići a small pearl and yet another demonstration of the mix of religions of the country. After this stop we went to Kravica waterfalls, which reminded us of Plitvice lakes (albeit small) and then we visited the beautiful medieval village of Počitelj, also very beautiful and surprising. Last stop was the Tekija of Blagaj a monastery linked to the Dervishes and Sufism, the ascetic and mystical form of Islam. The monastery is situated at the foot of a steep rock face on the bank of the raging Buna River. Very nice, a place that gives serenity. This was the last stop and from here we took the way back stopping in Jablanica, from BurekKing where we ate the best burek of the trip, in particular we took the Zeljanica (with spinach) and the krompirača (with potatoes): spectacular and, definitely, cheap;). Also, Arna had baked a small cake (really very good) for my birthday with attached box of "lukum" as a gift. Just before returning, after dark, last stop at Konjic Bridge. Once back at the hotel, our day ends, intense and exciting. It was a real pleasure to hear all the things Arna said and the way she said them. Also, we really appreciated their kindness and simplicity and the different tips for the rest of our trip (like where to eat good "somun"). In conclusion, this hike was really beautiful, fulfilling and rewarding and it is absolutely worth it. Vote? 11 out of 10 😍🤩

Efficient and interesting full day tour - Kenan was a very good driver/guide which is important because you're together for 12 hours. He was funny and informative and gave us a mixture of guided time and free time at each location. It's a ton of stuff to see in one day and there is a good amount of driving in between each stop, so definitely pack snacks, water, umbrella, medicine, etc. for whatever you may need for a full day. I had a short trip to Bosnia and so this was a perfect way for me to fit a lot into one day. There were two people in our group who were traveling to Mostar and used this tour as a way to see the sites and still end up in Mostar to continue their travels. I think this tour would be a good fit for people in either scenario.

Exciting and action packed trip - Great trip, I'd struggle to put it into words but to be short - exciting and quite picturesque I'd say. The guide Kenan knows his job very well, has a lot to tall about every spot we visited. He would also answer any additional questions not only about the tour but also about the Bosnia itself and the history, which I appreciated very much. So great trip, but might be tiring if I'd be completely frank given that it lasts 12 hours, I'd recommend getting good sleep and bring all the stuff you might need in long trip.
