The soba-making experience is popular among locals as well. Soba is a traditional Japanese dish, and making it by hand offers a cultural insight. Participants will learn to create dough from buckwheat flour, stretch, and cut the noodles during the session.
Soba-making experience steps:
① Mix buckwheat flour
② Stretch the soba noodles
③ Cut the soba noodles
④ Taste your handmade soba and artisan-prepared tempura (choose from cold or warm soba sauce)
⑤ Conclude with soba-yu, a traditional way to finish a soba meal.
Participants will receive clear instructions on how to enjoy soba, enhancing their appreciation of its flavors. The soba-making session lasts approximately 30 minutes, followed by a tasting, totaling around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Even young children can participate and enjoy the experience.
