A GREAT OPTION - A great option DE Tour EN Santo Domingo, the pickup was delayed a bit but they were EN contact with me, our group was small and I liked that, it should be mentioned that some points of the itinerary are closed POR rowing relationship however they took us to other very good points of interest that were worth it, a thank you to our guide Leo, very passionate POR history and resolved all my doubts about the city and Jhency who moved us POR the city. Very complete tour to get to know the city DE Santo Domingo well.

- Here’s a lightly edited version of your beautiful and heartfelt review that preserves your voice and deepens the emotional and cultural resonance just slightly: ⸻ This was my first time taking an official tour in Santo Domingo, even though I was born on the island—in Santiago. As part of reconnecting with my roots, I decided to take this tour to learn more about the history of the land where I was born. I’ve only visited Santo Domingo twice as an adult, so this felt like an important step in my personal and ancestral journey. The tour group was a very manageable size. I was picked up directly from the private residence where I was staying, and the driver was wonderful. I joined a dozen or so folks—some had driven in from Punta Cana, and others were local to Santo Domingo. Everything about the day was amazing. The guides were kind and knowledgeable, offering the experience in both English and Spanish, which I deeply appreciated. We had ample time to explore every stop except for the Faro a Colón, which we only saw from the outside—but even that felt divine. While we were there, I witnessed a full-circle sun halo in the sky. It was breathtaking. I love rainbows; they’re one of the ways my ancestors speak to me. That moment, under the halo at the lighthouse, felt like a blessing—a clear sign of connection to the land and lineage. The restaurant we visited in the Colonial Zone served delicious food—I especially loved the jugo de tamarindo. I had beautiful conversations with other travelers, and I left feeling more grounded, joyful, and connected to the island’s rich history. Santo Domingo is the first city founded in the Americas and carries a powerful energy—one of transformation, survival, and story. This tour was more than a sightseeing trip; it was a spiritual and cultural homecoming. Thank you to everyone who facilitated and participated in making this such a meaningful experience. If you ever find yourself wanting to learn more about Santo Domingo, I highly recommend taking this tour.

Excellent tour - Good tour of Santo Domingo, recommended! Very friendly guide and always attentive to the needs of all members of the group. The food on offer within the tour was fine, but not remarkable. Otherwise all excellent.

Pure fun! - One of the many highlights of this knowledgeable trip packed with entertainment and wonder was that it happened to be my birthday and I was publicly honored and celebrated by the organizers of the trip. I was blown away by this kind gesture. A BIG thank you!

10/10 would highly recommend - I took my mom with me on this tour and we absolutely loved it. My mom was born in the Dominican Republic and never had the opportunity when she was young to truly explore the island. She had never walked the Zona Colonial and she absolutely adored the caves! I had so much fun learning about the history of each stop and our tour guide, I forget his name, was the absolute best! He was well informed of the historical sites and super charismatic. He cared for the group and ensured we were safe and having a great time! Would recommend!

The tour was nice and the guide was educated and funny. Loved that this allowed us to meet other guest and natives. I would defi - The food included was tasty but not enough. The prices was a little more in markets than I expected. And the first driver didn't speak English so we couldn't understand each other.

Was nice for the most part - Informative and friendly staff. I came from Santo Domingo so when I arrived I had to wait around 20 minutes for another group from punta canta to come. Didn’t care for that part. Also the buffet was just ok. Outside of that it was a nice experience. Got to see lots of amazing sites and had fun overall.

‘Whelming - It was ok, but the group size was a bit large (25 people) and it started late. But the sites visited were beautiful and historic. And our guide Rudolpho was very knowledgeable about the history of Santo Domingo. The complementary lunch was also good.

Just OK - Pretty marginal. Pick up was 30 min. late. When we got to meeting place, had to wait another 25 minutes for another group from a different area to join us. Van was hot and packed like sardines in a can. Rudolph, guide was difficult to understand English. Buffet lunch was nothing special. Our tour ended 50 minutes early. Supposed to be 6 hours, only 4. Disappointed. I was last to get picked up for ride back to hotel, Rudolph stayed to make sure my ride arrived.
