Our journey will take us through major historical landmarks in Santo Domingo, a city established in 1498 upon the arrival of the Spanish in America. We’ll explore sites like Santa MarÃa la Menor (Primate Cathedral), the National Pantheon, and the Alcázar de Colón, the residence of the first Governor of Santo Domingo, Diego Columbus, and the Las Casas Reales Museum, all of which are located in the colonial district.
We’ll indulge in some shopping at the Colonial Market, where the roots of the New World trace back to. We’ ll then have our meal at an elegant restaurant situated in the significant Colonial District, renowned for its classic regional interior. Following that, we’ll tour the main administrative buildings in the capital.
The trip would provide a great opportunity to experience the historic Colonial City, which is the heart of the Dominican Republic.
