Just what I was looking for - Very complete, the guide was made in 3 languages (Spanish, French and German) David was very courteous and always took us to very good places, his recommendations to buy souvenirs were very appropriate, they reached my hotel in high utero without problem.

Good and safe - Good pick-up service at the hotel, responds immediately when asking for more information and thus removed all our concerns. We did the Santo Domingo tour from Los Corales. We felt safe all day. Small group. Because of the rain and the bad road to our hotel, we drove back with an employee ourselves and were dropped off at the front door. As with other tours: think of a snack and drink for in between and bring some cash (dollars) for tips.

Great but short - Cave was great, lunch also, we only saw one church and tombs, that's about it, so if you plan to see more of the city go on your own.

Probably is best to do a shorter and more focused visit - Distances are high so be prepared to be a considerable amount of time on the road. I also think that the first portion went too slow and the last portion (which is the nicest one, the colonial part of the city) was rushed

Historic places to understand Dominican but without Lunch - The guide Osuna and the tour driver super attentive and helpful know if I work. The places you visit are fine to know if you like to know the reality of Dominican and is part of the attraction of the tour you learn a lot about the conquest of America. However the food, and the horrendous place. They have two options either let us choose the place or improve it even if the price increases

Long day on the road for a 4.5 hour tour . - The trip was not the worst, but it definitely did not meet my expectations. First and foremost, we were warned that it would be a 4-hour round trip, but keep in mind that they also have to pick up other people from different resorts. That being said, we were picked up at 7 AM but didn't get to Santo Domingo until 11 AM. Once on the tour, my only two complaints are that the tour guide was tasked with doing the tour in two languages, which he managed to do a decent job of, but my biggest complaint is that the time management was horrible. We ended up waiting for people at gift shops that we were highly encouraged to purchase from. I can fault the tourists who took their time, but more so the guide for not accommodating the rest of the group, as all we did several times was just wait for people. The food at the buffet was good, and the tour itself is not bad for what you get, but it was only from 11 AM to 3:30 PM, which included the buffet. This means you do a 4.5-hour tour that plus an 8-hour ride to and from Punta Cana. Just be prepared for a long day on the road.

Disappointing Trip. Warning - Horrible. Took 4.5 hrs getting to Santo Domingo due to transfers but the worse thing was the multiple unscheduled roadside stops and pick ups of people; made us feel so unsafe. Only the tres ojos stop made it worthwhile. The lunch stop was very uncomfortable; tiny restaurant. Would have been better to get our own lunch

Do not do it!!!!!! - The tour guide did t seem comfortable speaking in English so we were left not knowing much about what was going on. There was also way too much downtime. We sat around at too many stops for too long making the tour longer than it needed to be. Would not recommend anyone do it. A waste of time and money.

Only for Spanish speakers - If you don't speak Spanish then please don't book this trip. We booked an English tour and was picked up by a driver who spoke no English at all. Then we we stopped at a gas station and we're told to get off the bus and wait with a group of other people. Still nobody who spoke English. We then we're shuffled onto another bus that was full except for 4 seats luckily ours were together (unfortunately for the only other English speaking couple who got on next their seats weren't together) we took off with still no word about of we were in the correct area or not. Right outside of Santo Domingo we picked up our tour guide. Who spoke English but at the time was only speaking in Spanish. The tour was mostly about pushing us into the next group of vendors with wuick bouts of history in between. The only positive was the lunch although it was not as advertised. It wasn't at the restaurant stated but the food was delicious traditional cooking. This tour was the worst experience I had during my trip so please save your money and book with someone else
