Eugenio de Jesus Vasquez Gutierrez is a top notch tour guide - Eugenio de Jesus Vasquez Gutierrez was an amazing tour guide. He speaks 3 languages and was going back and forth from Spanish to English like it was nothing. He took us all over Santiago showed us historical sites, nature, downtown and even took us to a place to try authentic empanadas. We received more than our money's worth in the 5 hours we spent with him. He listened to us and customized the tour for what we were interested in seeing in our short stay in Santiago. Only thing we didn't care for was going to a jewelry store that was part of his tour. Felt pressure to buy, but besides that is was a wonderful day.

A great introduction to Santiago! - We were picked up right on time by Eugenio for our half day tour. We first went to a park to feed the swans. Then we went to San Cristobal hill and rode the cable car up! Walked around the hill for some time and then back down to the city. In the city centre we walked around and got lots of history and beautiful pictures. A quick stop for a delicious empanada, and our tour was complete. This was a perfect half day, not overwhelming… and Eugenio was a wonderful guide!

Excellent introduction to Santiago - Eugene provided a wonderful tour of the highlights of Santiago including the beautiful park on Cerro San Cristobal Same, which we reached by a speedy cable car. Eugene speaks excellent English and was quite informative on the history and culture of Santiago and the country of Chile. If you have limited time (or even if you don’t), take this half-day tour with Eugene! We even had a nice surprise when Eugene spotted a little furry friend on our walks (picture included).

Great tour - highly recommend - Eugene contacted me the day before to confirm the pick up arrangements. He collected me from my hotel as scheduled. I had booked a small group tour, but I was the only one on it, so ended up having a private tour! As we drove around town Eugene explained all the sights as well as giving background on the country of Chile including some of its history. We took the cable car to the top of San Cristobal which was an absolutely stunning view seeing the whole of the city with the mountains in the background. Then we went back to the historic centre where we walked around seeing the sights. We finished the tour with late lunch at a local restaurant, and Eugene was able to make some recommendations from the menu! He dropped my back to my hotel afterwards. I couldn’t fault this tour and Eugene. Highly recommend

The adventure that you live in Santiago de Chile - It is the guide that opens the gates of Santiago de Chile. No one can explain the beauty and history of the city and beyond. He is like a person by your family guy to explain the new frontiers of the Santiago de Chile. When I hear all the characteristics and the see the different segments of the city, I was in that moment in the history of city. If you need an influential and experimental view of Santiago Eugine is the best Guidenfor you... ******** It is the Guide that opens the doors of Santiago, Chile. Unforgettable Santiago Tour with an Amazing Guide! - We had an absolutely fantastic private tour of Santiago with Eugene as our guide! He picked us up right on time from our apartment and from the start, his knowledge and passion for the city were clear. Throughout the day, Eugene shared fascinating insights about the city’s buildings, neighborhoods, and unique local spots that we never would have discovered on our own. Despite the colder weather, we still had an amazing time, and Eugene’s warm personality made the day even better! One of the highlights was when he took us to a local empanada restaurant – hands down the best empanadas we’ve ever had. We highly recommend Eugene and his company for anyone looking to explore Santiago in an authentic and fun way. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Unforgettable stories and experience - Fabulous guide made all the difference. Eugenio was fabulous. He knew so many great stories that brought the trip to life. Do you know why the statue of Mary is praying in one place and not others? Book with Eugenio to find out! He also knows places you would just walk past if it wasn’t for a knowledgeable guide. Who would have thought I’d visit a Harry Potter-esque bookshop? Or buy some souvenir earrings at a little tucked away craft market. Or hear about the coup… so many great stories. Eugenio also took us to the top of the St Cristóbal hills for unforgettable views. It was an amazing place to have lunch and another very different church. Eugenio speaks English very well and Portuguese! Highly recommended

Frustrating Tour - The tour got off to a bad start when the guide told me my party turned up 20 minutes late at the pick-up point. We were actually almost 20 minutes early but the guide claimed he messaged us that morning to say come earlier than the notified collection time. We didn’t receive that message. Furthermore, what sort of way is that to organise a tour anyway? Apart from that, the guide was okay but not great. He had lots of information but his delivery style was a bit intense/ hyperactive.
