• Teide National Park - The meeting point is Mirador de los Poleos, a westward-facing spot offering views of the islands of La Gomera and La Palma. This lookout is located at the site of the first documented volcanic eruption that Christopher Columbus noted in his ship’s log during his 1492 voyage to the Americas. Here, enjoy the sunset with a glass of cava, providing a fantastic opportunity for photography. As the sun sets, Mount Teide often takes on a reddish hue. After the sunset, the group will proceed into Teide National Park to observe the last recorded eruption in 1909 and continue to a lookout at Mount Samara.
  At this point, the sunset begins to paint the clouds in vibrant colors, and the island of El Hierro becomes visible. A large computerized telescope will be set up to observe the Moon, along with a laser guide to the stars.

This tour is perfect for independent travelers who prefer to drive themselves to the stargazing activity. Participants will drive to the sunset viewpoint to meet the guides and the group, then follow the group in their own vehicle to the stargazing location.
