Best Guide for Touring South Africa - In June, 2025, my wife and I and another couple hired Gabe to show us around Cape Town and the surrounding wine country. We had used Gabe twice before when he was a safari guide to four countries in South Africa and a second time for a guided tour along South Africa's garden route. Best hour spent. - Great historical information on the formation of the basilica and the surrounding area. A must when you want to find where to go during your visit.

More walk & talk - Don’t expect a lot of historical substance and quality details, it is more a casual and jovial talk & walk.

Language connection - There was only the 10 am daily offering for an English tour. With travelling arrangements, we stayed overnight to enable catching the 10 am start. They arrived 9:50 am. The tour guide's English was extremely difficult to understand. Storyline was hard to grasp. Disappointed with the walking tour in English.
