- Teide National Park - As the most visited national park in Europe and the ninth worldwide, Teide National Park showcases a variety of geological and natural wonders, explained by the guide. It features the Teide-Pico Viejo stratovolcano, which, at 3,718 meters, is the tallest peak in Spain. Rising 7,500 meters from the ocean floor, it ranks as the third highest volcanic structure globally, set in a stunning landscape. The visual impact is enhanced by atmospheric conditions that create ever-changing textures and tones, with a “sea of clouds” providing a breathtaking backdrop. Teide’s global significance lies in its role as a living example of the geological processes that shape oceanic islands.
- Orotava Valley - Formed by a massive landslide, the valley is now a thriving orchard with banana trees and vineyards. It offers spectacular views of the mountains, the sea, and the nearby island of La Palma. Depending on time and interests, visitors can explore a cafe with stunning views, roadside viewpoints, or the charming city of La Orotava, known for its palaces and beautiful historic center.
- Centro Historico de San Cristobal de la Laguna - Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for being the first Spanish/American colonial city. Its historic center features the first ideal “city-territory” designed according to philosophical principles. The wide streets and open spaces are lined with beautiful churches and public and private buildings from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
