Pick-up happens from either the port or the airport (or any location within the metropolitan area that you prefer). From there, our journey begins to various key locations on the island (the list below is just for reference). The entire trip is completely customizable according to your preference, with the itinerary being decided once we’re on the road, including the number of stops and other activities, all under the expert advice of the guide cum driver.

Day trip from Puerto de la Cruz - Excellent tour guide, very helpful and knowledgeable. We travelled from the UK with a little child and Antonio was so kind he made sure he stayed in the car with our little one if he was tired or sleeping so we could quickly pop out of the car to enjoy the view and he took us to all those special spots for capturing the best views. Would surely recommend him.

Sights of Tenerife and Mt Teide National Park - Great tour to explore Mt Teide park and mostly the north region of Tenerife island. Great views of the park and its varied geological scenery. Was doable in the day that we had from our cruise ship.

If you're lucky enough to be in Tenerife, book a tour with Antonio! - Our cruise switched ports from Lanzarote to Tenerife at the last minute and we were beyond lucky to find Antonio to take us up to El Teide and around the island. From pick up at the port to drop off, everything was perfect. It was misty and cloudy all the way through the forest up to the mountain, and Antonio kept reassuring us that the weather would clear at the top. And he was right - it was stunningly beautiful on the mountain. He stopped any time we wanted for photos, and even emailed me his own pictures after the tour. As we walked around different places in the park, Antonio explained all about the geology in the park along with the flora and fauna. Afterwards, we drove along some beautiful winding roads with wonderful views to Los Silos and Garachico for a lunch stop at a place right on the sea and a walk around the town. One more stop at Icod de los Vinos to see the most popular tree in Tenerife, the Drago Milenario or 1000-year-old dragon tree. All in all, it was a very full day for a very fair price and every minute was wonderful. Thanks Antonio and don't be surprised if we take you up on your offer and return to Tenerife! Susan and Mike

A wonderful guide to show you Tenerife and the volcanos! - A wonderful day on the Island of Tenerife! Antonio is a great guide for your adventure. His English is amazing and he is intelligent, well educated and happy to match the day to your interests and energy. Antonio is also a a calm and excellent driver and his clean car was very nice.
We enjoyed the drive to Teide volcano hearing the geology of the volcano along with history of the area and interesting stories of the people and culture, The wild flowers were gorgeous!
Antonio knows the island and the best spots to stop for a coffee break or meal. He enjoys being a guide and loves the Teide Park. We were so pleased with our day and happy we had an excellent private guide to show us his island!

Antonio is simply the best! - My husband and I were on a cruise that stopped in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and we booked this tour with Antonio. It was definitely the right decision! From the very beginning, the communication was excellent. We got a message from him on Whats App right after we booked the tour so we knew what to expect. The meeting point was very convenient and clear for cruise passengers. The day was perfect! We stopped at several viewpoints along the way up to Mt. Teide that were absolutely stunning! We had plenty of time at Roques de Garcia to marvel at the scene and enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace. We also made several other stops, including in La Laguna where we were able to see the historic area and stop for lunch which we enjoyed thoroughly. My husband had several requests that Antonio happily complied with. It was truly a tour of nature and culture. The tour was tailored to our requests and we never felt rushed. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had a new friend. We came away with a better understanding and appreciation of the Canary Islands. We definitely want to come back. Thanks, Antonio!

Faultless and tailored private tour of mount Teide and beautiful north Tenerife - After many holidays in the sunny South of Tenerife I decided it was time to fully experience the island and booked a private day tour with Antonio for me and my mum who is in her 80's. We were not disappointed! Antonio tailored the trip exactly to our love of the natural world and authentic local food. We were given options about routes, view points and places to stop for refreshments, all accessible for my mum. Antonio's love of nature, geology and his home island was palpable and his knowledge was extraordinary. We learnt some much and it brought the countryside alive for us. The landscape was incredibly beautiful and so varied, we travelled through the other worldly volcanic mount Teide national park, cloud forests, breathtaking mountain passes with views across the ocean, lush natural gardens of the north, rugged coastlines with natural swimming pools. We saw blue finches, lizards, cactus beetles, and ate wonderful Canadian flea rolls and pastries at a stunning cliff top cafe. To top it off Antonio took fantastic photos for us so we could fully appreciate the scenery without the need for a phone or camera. I absolutely cannot fault this experience, worth every penny and beautifully put together by Antonio. Great communication from the point of booking and collected / dropped to our hotel door. First class service

Fabulous private tour of Teide and more - Antonio provided a fantastic private tour based upon what we had already seen on the island. We took in a vista point overlooking Masca before heading into Teide National Park. Antonio shared his geology expertise so we could really appreciate all the marvels of the park. We stopped frequently to take pictures and get a close up look at the geology. He also shared some of the history of the island and gave suggestions for us to check out during the rest of our stay. Informative, relaxed and fun. It was a wonderful day!

Amazing day in Tenerife - We booked this tour based on the good reviews and we were not disappointed. The search for tour to Teide National park was not easy - we were from the cruise ship visiting for one day. Many tours are originated from the opposite (South) side of the island where most hotels are located. We were coming from the Santa Cruz port, which is quite a drive from the park. Communication with our guide Antonio was prompt and courteous, we felt safe.
The day was packed with scenic drive, beautiful views, good talks and small walks but we never felt rushed. At the end, we had a leisure walk through the town La Laguna - it was an unexpected delight. Antonio found a small cafe where we finally tasted the fried goat cheese. It was a delicious end to the wonderful day. He brought us back to the ship by dinner time and departure. We especially recommend this tour for cruise passengers - book it as soon as you know your itinerary.

Tour of the North of Tenerife - Antonio, our guide for 6 hours, gave us a great day. Extremely friendly, educated and with the special knowledge of geology he was the optimal guide for this tour. Surely he took us to Teide in a well-kept big car along serpentine roads that were daring for us. The landscapes we traversed on the tour were all magnificent - from moonscapes to green valleys to incredible rock formations.
Overall an absolutely recommendable tour at a fair price.

Fantastic Tenerife shore excursion! - Antonio’s tour was the best I have ever had! He clearly loves the mountain, El Teide, and speaks passionately about the geology and cultures that have molded Tenerife into what it is today. We experienced a freak thunderstorm on our ascent that gave us rain, snow and hail and 4 deg Celsius temps, which was a surprise since we started at sea level with a breezy 68 degrees. We took in La Orotava and La Laguna, and had a leisurely snack on the way back to the ship. Antonio is intelligent, well-traveled and just a great person to get to know. We hope to see him next time we come to visit Tenerife! Very highly recommended!
