The best day of our Sal holiday with formon tours - We booked through viator, and Formon tours- turismo nautico (Nando) met us at Santa Maria Pier.
Once we were given bouancy aids and flippers we boarded the boats and headed out to Sea.
I am very grateful to Pablo, Nando and team for their consideration and expertise. They looked after the whole group, keeping everyone safe and in sight, they gave me a ton of extra tuition with the snorkel and support as they could see I was very nervous in the water. They were determined to find turtles and worked so hard to make this happen.
Thank you so much for making a dream come true for me and my friend; swimming with turtles.
If anyone reading my review is thinking about booking a snorkelling trip from Santa Maria, do not book with anyone else.

I repeated again! - Unique experience. Friendly local guide and had a lot of knowledge about marine life. You can see many fish, turtles and debris of boats and ships.

An experience... - An unforgettable experience on the Island of Salt! Our guide was Nando and his team, super friendly and simple make the experience even more enjoyable. It is possible for those who do not know how to swim, the equipment provided was impeccable and the guide come directly with us to the water, making the experience safer. All the beauty of the island is under our eyes, the fauna and flora of the waters of this island are breathtaking. It is possible to observe with the turtles so as not to compromise their safety, to observe debris and buried statues and many little fishes. If you’re visiting the Sal, even if you don’t know how to swim, leave the fear aside and venture out!

Snorkelling with turtles - The guide was very nice. It was a small fishing boat. We saw coral, turtles and different aquatic life. The only issue was that for old people it is very difficult to get back into the boat from the water. This should be mentioned in the viator advertisement. Otherwise, it was very nice.

good for adults but not recommended for a small kids - The guide was very kind and helpful, but when I booked the dive, it was recommended for both children and adults. In a private message, they asked us about foot size and weight for fins and life jackets. They didn't find fins for my son, and the only small life jacket they had wasn't large enough and didn't keep him afloat (he's 7). As a result, after two minutes of diving, he was afraid he would drown and was left on the boat. My son wasn't reimbursed, and he didn't use the activities at all. Apart from this incident, everything was fine. I don't recommend it for small children, as the organizer doesn't have enough equipment to ensure safety.

We had big... - We had great expectations but we were disappointed. The organization is tolerable and without any conditions for the value paid. Nothing was seen, it was only worth the boat ride.

Lustless and poorly organized. Only money making - Poor organization. No wetsuits, no fins in size for our youngest(size 33) although checked before. Duration of the tour maximum 1.5h

Snorkeling - Terrible experience, badly organized. Initial meeting? Zero. No information of any kind. Written clearly that they would provide the wetsuits...so it was not, even there were. On the way out, taken with the rubber boat to the speedboat, on the way back left on shore without any help to get off, maybe it would have been useful given the high waves! The guide obviously did not speak Italian, as written. Taken to 3 places where only in one we saw fish... the rest zero....

We made the marking two... - We made the check-in two days before and once we arrived, we had no room on the boat! We were asked if we could go later, but we already had other excursions scheduled for the rest of the day, so we were not able to remarket for later. Marking with viator does not pay, as there is no communication between viator and the company. I was disappointed with the situation and showed lack of competence in the organization. The staff was super friendly, but I don't make marks by the viator even more because there appeared a lady who had not paid and marked the day before otherwise (not the applications) and she could get on the boat...
