- Grotte Marine Di Leuca - Captain Mino will welcome you at the Leuca Tourist Port on pier i. Once aboard our comfortable boats, you’ll embark on a journey to explore the stunning coast of Santa Maria di Leuca, rich with caves and karst formations. We provide snorkeling gear to help you better explore the seabed, as well as life jackets for both adults and children if needed. We’ll swim in the most beautiful caves on both the Adriatic and Ionian sides. After visiting the caves, we’ll return to the port at the embarkation point.
- Santa Maria di Leuca - The caves we will visit on the Adriatic side include: Terradico Cave, Gabbiano Cave, Verdusella Cave, Ortocupo Cave, Vora Cave, Breath Cave, and Cathedral Cave. The caves we will visit on the Ionian Sea include: Devil’s Cave, Mesciu Scianni Cave, River Cave, Three Doors Cave, Giants’ Cave, Nativity Scene Cave, Stable Cave, Lovers’ Cave, and Dragon’s Cave!

For over 13 years with excursions, boat trips, visits to the caves, the coast and the marine territory we have been happy to make our customers live real “experiences” in Santa Maria di Leuca and Salento. We will visit both seas, both Adriatic and Ionian. Swim stops will be made and our skippers will personally accompany guests inside the caves. In addition to snorkeling equipment, there will be SUP boards with which everyone can try their hand and have fun and equipment for those less able to swim. During the route there will be a detailed description of the places that will be visited, with historical, geographical notes and stories about the area. On the boat, there will be other guests with whom to share experiences and socialize.

Great time - Great tour, worth the money. Had so much fun swimming. Took us to amazing spots to swim. Salvatore was helpful and informative.

TOUR MERAVIGLIOSO!! - We had an unforgettable experience; visited suggestive places; experienced a spectacular sunset and discovered many little secrets thanks to Mino, a present and friendly Guide.
His experience allowed us to know the beauties of Leuca.
His presence and his empathy were essential to better enjoy the whole trip (especially during bathroom stops!!).
Very good aperitif and sweet musical ending!

PERFECT - With Leuca Explorer we did 2 excursions both in the morning and in the evening, both SPECTACULAR. We had the pleasure of meeting Captain Mino, very competent, kind and funny. He accompanied us swimming inside the caves, both in the part of the Adriatic Sea and in the Ionian Sea; if it were not for him I would not even have bathed inside the caves but with his professionalism makes you feel comfortable and safe without being afraid of anything! Everything was PERFECT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Thanks Mino for these unforgettable experiences it was a real pleasure!

Afternoon perfect! - We visited the caves today with Mino...it was just perfect...don’t look for other agencies. 3h excursion with history and explanations... Mino speaks English French..we have 3 stops 2 swimming stops with all the equipment to enjoy the caves and the seabed... and a small aperitif stop!
It was just magic my son and I will keep a great memory of that day!
It’s rare but ... I thought it’s borderline not expensive enough for what we experienced!

Five star experience - Beautiful experience and great organization, there was no problem in moving the Reservation because my partner was sick the day before. Captain Mino very kind and knowledgeable, illustrated the caves to people of all nationalities and personally accompanied us to explore hidden caves! Very comfortable and very nice boat, definitely well maintained! All incredible! Very happy with the excursion!

Perfect mid-August - A unique experience: visit to the heel of Italy with sunset bath in the caves of Santa Maria di Leuca and with a breathtaking view.
We chose this event to celebrate the birthday of a friend on August 15 and, in addition to the natural light show, everything proved to be a real party thanks to the fireworks seen directly from the boat!
Special thanks go to Salvatore, a member of Leuca Explorer staff, very prepared and very nice, he helped make this day the perfect mid-August among friends!

Sunset boat tour 🌆 - It was 3 beautiful hours, passed too quickly! Double that would not have been enough to continue admiring the beauty of this coast! The Captain Salvatore impressive that with his passion and experience has managed to convey the essence of these places .. all the beautiful caves and views closely .. priceless view of the sunset from the sea with aperitif prepared by him with fresh white wine and Salento appetizers. A unique emotion accompanied by Apulian tarantelle and the smile of Salvatore who was able to entertain even children! Thank you for the wonderful experience, good guys, keep it up, we will be back!!
