Huatulco tour with Tito, Isabel and Anna - What to say? The tour was amazing. We did not expect to see so many dolphins and whales. Many thanks to the entire crew: Tito, Isabel and Anna. We also could hear the whales communicate each other. A lot of emotions!

No words to describe this awesome tour! - We had an outstanding tour, saw so many dolphins and whales, we didn’t know where to look at some point! The crew: Tito, Isabelle and Anna were awesome, providing lots of details on the animals species and the Huatulco National Park. It’s nice to see organizations caring for the environment and biodiversity. Very pleased to have encouraged such enterprise. Keep up the great work!

Wonderful experience! - We had an unforgettable tour with Peter and Tito on deck! The two keep a good lookout for marine animals, which allowed us to see many many dolphins. Even a humpback whale in the distance, but it quickly dived. With a microphone on board, we were able to follow his chants underwater. I will never forget this event! I also found it great that scientific data was collected at the same time. I would go back any time!

Eco Excellence! - We had a great trip. Tito was wonderful and knowledgeable. Loved seeing the dolphins and the turtles and the variety of marine life while snorkeling. My son (not a lot of experience) felt safe on the reef. Would definitely go again!

Oceanico is the best option - Oceanico is definitely the best option if you want to take a whale and/or dolphin watching tour in Huatulco! Both the captain and the host are super professional, ambalistic and excellently prepared! The guide is a marine biologist which gives a great extra to the tour as you learn a lot. Something that I loved and makes Oceanico so special, is that they do the tours respecting 100% all the biodiversity of the area and take a route in which they are the only boat observing all the different animals that appear along the way, plus they support local students to collect data for their research!! I had an excellent experience and will definitely come back!!! Thank you so much!

Fabulous day on the water 💦 - Peter & Tito were great hosts and guides for this aquatic adventure. We say humpback whales & snorkeled in a secluded little bay with pretty fish. They provided drinking water (bonus: in metal bottles, not plastic!). Peter is a marine biologist and shares knowledge about ocean life with much enthusiasm and joy. Peter took great photos of the whale sightings that he shared with us but I haven’t downloaded yet. Bring sufficient sun protection as there is not a ton of shade in some areas of the boat.

High praise for the Oceanic team - Fantastic experience. Excellent communication throughout. From the minute we arrived, friendly and helpful. Captain Tito is a spotter for marine life like no other. Shipmate Tony was equally knoweldgeable. And heck, Bucket List fun! If you plan to go out on the water, see what the ocean may show you, take this tour. Worth every cent. And, when you are done, please tip the crew!

Great snorkeling at least. - Smaller, powerful boat with 8 passengers and one skipper. The actual guide, Peter, had to dismiss himself as he wasn’t well. Tito, the skipper, was informative and was knowledgeable about local fauna. It took at least an hour to get to the snorkeling destination and unfortunately we didn’t see a single critter on the boat ride to our reef. That journey felt long. Once there, Tito pointed where to snorkel for best viewing and it was full of diversity and very safe. We snorkeled for a good 30 minutes and it never felt like there was a rush to get back to the boat. Access into the boat was via a ladder so likely not for everyone. On the return, we toured along the bays of the Nat’l Park. Tito informed us of some very cool facts about turtles, dolphins, local whales and transient whales. I will be a hit at my next cocktail party. We went in search of marine life as we headed back to our drop off point and came across a couple Spotted dolphins that teased us, some olive ridley sea turtles (see, I was listening) and some manta rays that would ‘fly’ out of the water. That was fun. Total time out on the boat was 4.5 hours which was more than enough. No humpbacks to be seen and it may have been due to the swells. That would have given the trip higher marks but I know you can’t guarantee that sort of thing. We weren’t sure that this trip had the value but Tito was a pro, the people were nice and the water was fresh. I’d recommend bringing snacks, food as granola bars and apples were all that was offered. Small bathroom amidship but nobody used it. I’ll say thankfully.
