The Second Experience Was the Charm - Last November, we first visited Huatulco, and we were lucky to have a great tour guide who showed us some incredible spots around the area. This month, we returned for another tour with the same guide, and one of the highlights was the Huatulco Oceanside Food and Drinks tour. Each location, right by the ocean, offered beautiful views, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We enjoyed delicious seafood dishes and some Oaxaca specialities. The food was super fresh and paired with perfectly crafted cocktails. The whole experience was a fantastic way to unwind. If you're in Huatulco, we definitely recommend checking it out for great food, drinks, and unbeatable views!

Mezcal and great food - what more could you ask for11 - My newish partner and I decided to take a long weekend to Huatulco. We found a site called Next Stop Huatulco and they have a selection of tours. We were hard pressed trying to decide which tour to take as it was our last day in Huatulco.as each was so different. Finally, we decided on the Oceanfront Food and Drink tour. We started with a tutorial on mezcal and three samples. Noone in the group knew about mezcal and I think it is an acquired taste. The mezcal tasting was followed by three completely unique restaurants with their own vision of Oaxacan food. The chefs were readily available; to share their insights and inspirations which made each morsel of food taste that much better. The other quests were delightful, and we all bonded and hugged each other goodbye. We think we chose the right tour for us. Maryrose (our guide) could not have been more hospitable and was so much fun. She had 30 trivia questions about Mexico and the winner received 5 scoops of Thrifty ice cream straight from the States.

Eat Oaxacan food and learn to sip (besitos - little kisses in Spanish) mezcal. - Who wants to go on a fabulous eating and drinking tour? Oceanside food and drink was a BIG success! I think we lucked out because our companions on the tour were fabulous and our guide was even more fabulous! The food was excellent at each stop. What we found most interesting was a tutorial and tasting of mezcal, which is the drink of choice in Oaxaca. Had we not learned so much from our teacher we don’t know if we would have enjoyed mezcal as much as we did. This is a MUST experience!!!

My experience in Oaxaca - We loved it! We find out why Oaxaca is the culinary capital of Mexico. Something we didn’t know before doing the Food and Beverage tour on the Huatulco Coast. We begin our evening with a first-rate mezcal tasting. They explained their history extensively, while enjoying the traditional Oaxaca drink. We all had an amazing time! There was a great atmosphere when we left the mezcalaria and started with the gastronomic journey of Oaxaca. With each bite we made our mouths water, as well as with each sip of the original cocktails of Next Stop Huatulco, which were waiting for us on arrival at each stop. A bonus was meeting the chefs of each restaurant and listening to their inspirations. That made the experience much more personal! Thanks for everything Maryrose!! You couldn't have been a better hostess.

Recommended! - This is a most tour for fish and seafood lovers. Forget what you have tried before and go and taste what is instore on this tour. Three hot dishes and three cold ones. Each one is as good as the last one or next one. The owners were readably available to explain dish and answer any questions. We are super enthusiast about this experience!
