An agent from Panamericana de Viajes DMC will get in touch with you at your hotel to commence a tour of the western region of Antioquia province. This area experiences a typical temperature of around 30°C and is home to picturesque towns like Santa Fe de Antioquia, the initial capital of the province. Appreciated for its stone streets, bahareque and tapia-tread houses, and local fruits, it’s part of Colombia’s Network of Heritage Municipalities and attracts tourists with its colonial architecture marked by white facades, and expansive wooden doors and windows. The itinerary also includes a visit to the West’s hanging bridge, a national monument built between 1887 and 1895 over the Cauca River. Following this, we’ll head to San Jerónimo, referred to as “The land of Cocoa,” for lunch at a hotel resort and some leisure time. The tour will conclude with a return trip to your hotel.
