After enjoying a ferry trip in a VIP seat with complimentary beverages, you’ll soon be ascending from the ocean depth through deep gullies. A brief stopover is arranged at the small village of Chejelipes that offers a picturesque reservoir for photography. Following that, you’d visit the valley based community of Hermigua and Agulo, a small village overlooking the northern coastline. Known for its petite homes and scenic views of Tenerife, it’s cobbled streets and its parish church featuring Greek-style white roof encapsulates the enchantment of rural La Gomera.

The journey continues as you ascend towards the periphery of Garajonay that’s reminiscent of the Jurassic era. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s often enveloped by a foggy horizontal rain. You stop at the visitor centre to educate about the botanical varieties, the history of the park, and its environmental protection initiatives. In addition, there’s a visit planned to an ethnographic museum to give you a taste of local specialties. Finally, winding through laurel forests brings you to the Laguna Grande Forest, enjoyed whilst dining in a local family-owned eatery.
