Discovering the Wonders of Teide National Park

Our adventure began in the heart of Teide National Park, a place that feels like stepping into another world. The landscape is a stunning tapestry of volcanic rock formations, and the air is crisp and invigorating. As we ascended to 2,200 meters, the panoramic views were nothing short of breathtaking. We paused at the Mirador de Cherfe for a photo session, capturing the stunning views of the gorge below. The kids were thrilled to spot a few native birds, adding a touch of wildlife discovery to our trek.

Coastal Beauty and Culinary Delights

Our adventure concluded with a scenic drive along Tenerife’s northern coastline. The views of the cliffs and beaches were mesmerizing, and we made a stop at a beautiful black sand beach in Los Realejos. The kids couldn’t resist the allure of the volcanic sand, and we spent some time strolling barefoot along the shore, collecting seashells and enjoying the gentle ocean breeze.

No trip to Tenerife would be complete without sampling the local cuisine, and Alex knew just the place. We stopped at a quaint restaurant where we indulged in Canarian delicacies and savored a cup of the famous barraquito coffee. It was a perfect way to end our day, with the kids happily recounting their favorite moments of the trek.
