Fantastic tour if you're interested in astronomy - The visit to the observatory included lots of interesting information and was a good setup for the second part of the tour. The scenery and views from the top of the volcano are beautiful, particularly the sunset which was spectacular.
The tour of the cosmos was amazing, I learned a lot and could have stayed there all night
Our guide Lucas was great - knowledgeable, funny, and engaging
Thank you for a great evening!

Worth every cent!!! - Our guide Lucas did a really great job. Although we were worried about the language (and the quite high price), the astronomer explained everything very understandably and super humorously. The whole tour was varied and we got interesting insights into the observatory! The sunset over the clouds and the starry sky on Mount Teide are an absolute highlight of our trip. The views through various telescopes were also a unique experience. Completely successful!

Impressive - Very scientific tour and an impressive place. Unfortunately, the guide's Spanish English is often very difficult to understand. Also very cold!!

We are so little DE... - We went to the observatory by our own means (car DE rental) and only booked the EN French tour.
Our young guide was passionate and gave a lot of explanations. But hard DE digest everything because he gave EN!
The tour is not open to young children and I understand why. We very quickly “lost” ours, DE 9 and 13. You really need to be interested in astronomy and have a minimum DE knowledge in the field.
However, I appreciated DE being able to walk between the various research stations DE EN activity (we can’t get in there), DE see the DE montage DE one of them.
We were able to stop in a (air-conditioned) building to have a number of explanations and then in an old telescope to see all its equipment.
Interesting observation of the sun also ENt via a small telescope outdoors.
Beyond that, it is the site and its environment that deserve to be seen. It remains a place “like no other” for the observatory and for the volcano.
Perhaps it would be possible to imagine a less “scientific” visit DE formula that is more accessible to the layperson? EN as it stands, it is not a “general public” activity.
I did DE distance neither retain everything nor understand everything but I liked it all DE.

Visit to the Observatory, Astrophysics workshop and observing, Saturday 26/07/25 - It was a very good tour overall.
We enjoyed the observatory and telescope visits (‘Carlos Sanchez’ observatory and views of sun through the Lunt Solar Scope 🔭).
The Astrophysics workshop was okay. However, the speaker was asking the audience questions in español (- no ingles!). In future, please ask audience questions in English as well, so that we can all be fully engaged in the workshop.
Gr8 shout out to Lucas Peirera, our main guide, who was very engaging with the telescopes/observatory tour and observing later in evening (- we saw some amazing views of the night sky!).

Great experience and would go back anytime, but the description of small group is not correct - An extremely interesting tour, which included a visit to the observatory and a description of the nighttime sky.
For the visit to the starry sky in particular, four mobile telescopes were set up and adjusted. The same was true for the observatory. Provision of the equipment, installation and transport from the hotel and back involved a logistical and complex scope that justified the price of the event. However, the small group of just under 60 people is not exactly small. The effort involved is understandable. However, the title of the description and the trip is incorrect. If this were to be changed, it would be a five-star rating. Unfortunately, due to this incorrect information, only four. Many thanks to our guide Maxim, who provided excellent, expert information at all times.

Scam, pirates on Teide - SCAM
This pirates, is what they are, will brake all your plan down, letting you and family waiting for ever. When you call to complain or check where they are they’ll say: You should have an email with the tour cancellation!! The funny thing is they’ll not refund due to pirates company policy! By the way Visa and banks are partners because they know what’s going on, check the company reviews, so many people can’t be unhappy without reason.

Disappointment - We had scheduled a visit to the teide and astronomical observation, we paid 120 euros for 3 people, it was a Saturday at 23:30 at night, we came from another island for that, and the day before they changed the time because they did not have enough people, they sent us an email and they change it for 3 hours before but upstairs there is no coverage and we did not receive it and we also did not return money, a disappointing experience.

Pick up not as stated - We booked with Volcano Teide and they were supposed to pick up in Los Gigantes. Two hours after the cancellation time they sent a text to say pick up and drop off would be in Adeje, a €45 taxi trip each way. Proper rip off. Do your research or get ripped off like I did. Lesson learned.
