Hop on-Hop off - We were on a cruise and the first stop of their itinerary was within walking distance of the ships drop off point.

Good Way to See Sights - Once we got on a bus, it was a great experience! Helpful guides. Just 1000s of people get off of a cruise ship at the same time - line was REAL long to get on the bus at stop 1. We walked several stops up the line, toured and by the time we finished these two stops, we were able to get on a bus with no line.

Avoid - Absolutely awful. Chaotic and disorganised at the start. More than 50 people trying to get on with staff giving conflicting instructions on queuing. Had to wait more than 40 minutes for a bus and hardly anyone got off until the end of the route because it was so uninteresting. Certainly the worst 20e I’ve spent in a long time.

What not to do in Tenerife - Waited in a LONG line, in the sun for the bus. They don’t provide refunds so we waited and waited. They say 30min but it was an ONE HOUR AND 30 min. DON’T buy the tickets until you’re sure you’ll make it on a bus. Or DON’T buy them at all. Only 2 buses in rotation so the wait was RIDICULOUS!!!! DO NOT BUY.!!!!

Very poor service from City Sightseeing Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Positives Clean buses Commentary with some music We enjoyed a visit to the Palmetum and the Casa Del Carnival while visiting Santa Cruz de Tenerife via the Sightseeing bus. Negatives Bus stops do not have timetables and buses struggle to keep to timetable as per website. Driver refused to take debit card for tickets and advised to book via the app. He then drove off leaving us in the extreme heat. Bookedtickets via the website only for the ticket to be valid in Lisbon that day and not Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This made it impossible for City Sightseeing to refund as it was within 24 hours of booking. We are not intending to go to Lisbon so we have LOST over £58 due to webpage error.
