Up close experience to learn about the wine industry! - Great wineries where we could ask questions. We learned so much about the process of making the wines. And tasted some great wines, too!

Awesome time! - We had a great time. Yunni was a great host. Her driving made us feel safe and she kept us well informed about the trip and what to expect. The stops on the tour were perfect. Lunch was yummy. Yunni was very knowledgeable about the area and wine in general.

New to wine tasting or a seasoned professional, this is an amazing tour for all! - This was a very enjoyable experience that we highly recommend. This tour started in Santa Barbara and stopped at three different tasting locations. This gave everyone a huge variety of samplings across the board. The weather in this area on the day of our tour was perfect with clear sunny skies and cool, comfortable temperatures. The drive out of the city into the countryside was amazing and took us up and over the local mountain range into the vineyard region hidden behind. Our driver/guide was extremely knowledgeable in everything wine and provided comic relief from stop to stop. A good amount of time was spent at each location for the wine sampling and we didn't feel rushed. A catered box lunch that was made for each guest individually through a spectacular menu was ordered and served at the second stop location. This food was amazing! After each series of tastings there was an opportunity to purchase a bottle of wine or merchandise from the wine maker. There was absolutely no pressure, stress or a feeling of obligation to do so. We enjoyed several samples along the way and purchased bottles to take home with us. They also ship at a reasonable cost too. Salute!

This was such a fun way... - This was such a fun way to spend the day in Santa Barbara! We went to three different places and really liked each one. There were beautiful sights to see at each stop as well as on the drive. Iaon is super knowledgeable as well as personable and made the day flow great. We had never really drank wine prior to this tour, so I definitely think this experience is super fun whether you drink wine regularly or not!! Highly recommend this wine tour.

Great Wine Country Experience outside Santa Barbara! - Lovely trip into Santa Ynez valley wine country, tasting delicious wine at some smaller exclusive wineries! So much fun, and amazing views of the mountains and oceans as we drove to and from the valley!

Wonderful Day! - We signed up for a group tour on a Monday, but other group members dropped out so it was just my wife and me--like a private tour. Our guide arranged visits to two very interesting small production vineyard wineries and one production facility. At each stop were were able to speak with extremely knowledgeable wine makers about their products while tasting some fabulous low-production wines. The vineyards were beautiful and at one the wine maker took us around in a motorized cart to check out various plots, see the vines up close. The tour guide also provided a picnic-style lunch from a local gourmet shop that was great. It was a perfect day and well worth the cost. I highly recommend Rooted Vine Tours. Our guide was great!

Wonderful visit to Santa Ynez wineries - We visited three excellent wineries and sampled 20 different wines over the course of the day. We also had a delicious and big picnic lunch at one of the wineries to help with processing all that wine! We learned a lot about the winemaking process by meeting some of the winemakers. After the tour, we have found wines from two of the wineries on the wine lists of some very nice restaurants. Yunni was our tour guide and she educated us on the area and the wineries before we arrived at each one and gave us her recommendations on places to go in Santa Barbara on the way back. It was a great day!

Wine in the sun - 3 great wineries each visit a bit more interesting than the next - or was that the wine?! Beautiful, interesting and delicious. Had a great time - don’t have to be a wine fan to enjoy it.

Great wine tour - This tour was one of the best tours I’ve been on. Uni, was very personable and knowledgeable about the region. We went to 2 estate vineyards and I wine production facility. The person at each stop went into great detail on the process of making their wine. Highly recommend this tour.
