Amazing and educational! - Awesome tour with Marlon. He showed me how much has changed in a short time in El Salvador. He explained everything very well and I walked away with a ton of knowledge. I highly recommend!

Walk at night safely with a local - I had a wonderful time walking with Marlon. As an older woman traveling alone I loved being able to walk around the city at night. I had read The Volcano Daughters be the El Salvador writer Bailbrera, Marlon filled in historical details that explained the architectural and economic experiences. As we walked the streets that gang members so recently controlled I felt the deeply appreciated relaxation as the people are finally able get out and enjoy their town. El Salvador is a new country full of hope and they are lucky to have Marlon to help it grow.

Awesome local guide - Marlon is a local from Santa Ana who knows the ins and outs of the city. He shared really interesting information about the historical background of the city and the country, the colonial buildings that you might have neglected to notice while walking by, and the parts of the city that you might be a little hesitant to visit on your own. In the end, he introduced me to a local speakeasy that only those in the know can enter! I highly recommend his tour, especially if you don't want to miss out on the city's serene nightly scene. He also recommended a few other spots to check out in the close proximity that are not well advertised online
