After checking in, you can enjoy lunch and relax. On your first day in Wuyishan, you’ll explore Tiger Hissing Peak and the One-Line-Sky Scenic Area. Tiger Hissing Peak (虎啸岩) is one of the 36 renowned peaks of the Wuyi Mountains, known for its steepness and isolation. The mountain resembles a roaring tiger, and the sound of the wind through the pine forest mimics a tiger’s hiss. The One-Line-Sky (一线天) area, located at the southern end of the Wuyi Mountains, features a magnificent valley running east to west. This area is celebrated for the narrow view of the sky from the valley floor. Blue Rock and Pavilion Rock, opposite three caves, are also admired for their rugged beauty, steepness, and diverse recesses. Afterward, your private driver will return you to your hotel.

Jiuqu Stream-Wuyi Palace-Tianyou Peak-Jade Girl Peak

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort - After breakfast, embark on a boat cruise along Jiuqu Stream to admire the stunning scenery, including towering mountains, lush vegetation, blue skies, and clear waters. The Danxia landform by the river is a highlight of Mount Wuyi. Many artists and poets have visited Mount Wuyi for inspiration, leaving behind numerous inscriptions.

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort - Next, visit Wuyi Palace, located at the mouth of Nine-bend Stream, originally built during the Tang Dynasty. It now houses two Dragon wells, Wannian Palace, and Sanqing Hall. Currently, Wannian Palace serves as a memorial hall for Zhu Xi and features sweet-scented osmanthus trees over 1,000 years old, known as the ‘king of sweet-scented osmanthus trees’. After lunch, explore Tianyou Peak and Jade Girl Peak. From the top of Tianyou Peak, enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Wuyishan and the sea of clouds after rain or at dawn. Huma Mountain Stream cascades down from the peak, resembling white silk, hence the name snowflake spring, a marvel in the mountain. Jade Girl Peak, shaped like a lovely girl, stands south of Nine-bend Stream and Two-bend Stream, facing Great King Peak across the stream, with Iron Slab Peak in between.

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort - At the base of Jade Girl Peak is Yuxiang Pond, which contains a seal stone. Your private driver will then return you to your hotel.

Da Hong Pao Scenic Area-The Water Curtain Cave Area

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort - On your third day in Wuyishan, enjoy ample time exploring two top attractions: Da Hong Pao Scenic Area and Water Curtain Cave. Da Hong Pao Scenic Area is renowned for its Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) Tea Trees nestled among rocks. You can explore the tea plantation and savor Da Hong Pao tea. Water Curtain Cave (水帘洞) is the largest cavern in the Wuyi Mountains, with deep valleys forming cracks among massive rocks of various shapes and sizes. Creeks and waterfalls flow through these cracks, surrounded by pine trees, bamboo forests, and a variety of flowers. Your private driver will then take you back to your hotel, the railway station, or the airport.
