JBerg Tour was the Ultimate Experience! - Fantastic day with John on 18/8/25. Disappointed that the Apartheid Museum is closed on Mondays and didn’t realise that when we booked, however, John made sure we visited other places and he gave us lots of information along the way. Saw many parts of JBerg: Soweto, Constitution Hill and the former jail, Lilleyleaf, Sandton, downtown, and more. The modern small vehicle was perfect. A full day and thanks John. Fabulous day to end 4 week stay in Africa.

Truly rememberable! Do yourself a favor and book this! - I was picked up at my hotel by one driver who brought me to meet my Tour Guide Mo at Nelson Mandela Square. The entire trip was a scale of one to 10 a 10+. So thorough so heartfelt and so deeply connected to the area. I have done a lot of travel and I so appreciate All that I saw and how thorough the trip was. I feel the icing on the cake was seeing how people lived, and Mo’s interaction with his community. Still grabbing my heart! If you have the opportunity, I would definitely suggest doing it! Enjoy your experience!

Comprehensive and informative - Tour guide Banele was a fountain of knowledge. He was able to answer all questions and provide local insights. The comprehensive tour including Johannesburg and Soweto provides great in depth insights into both historical and recent developments. The culmination in the Apartheid Museum was another highlight. Highly recommend.

Full day tour of Joburg and Soweto - Fantastic day learning about the history of Joburg and ended the day with a walk through the informal settlements. Our guide, Mo was very informative and well versed with the history. Even had a great lunch at Soweto in a restaurant called Sakhumzi on vilakazi street where Nelson Mandela used to live.

A great crash course to learn about South Africa and Johannesburg - The tour moved in a comfortable pace. Our guide Mo gave us a clear and comprehensive introduction of the history of South Africa and Johannesburg. The tour ended with a visit to the Apartheid Museum. Mo arranged a private guide for us which was very helpful indeed. It was a solid 8.5 hour tour. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Historian, storyteller, personal guid to Jo’burg - What a great experience! I only had one day in Jo’burg and chose this tour to introduce me to South Africa and to help combat jet lag as I arrived just the night before after 24 hours of flying. My tour guide Mo’ was extraordinary! Besides ensuring I got to tour the sites - Constitutional Court, the old prison, Apartheid Museum, Mandela House, Soweto community tour etc - Mo’ is also a fantastic storyteller in his own right. He’d pull over and stop at locations to tell the history in a way that I could see the people on the street and hear their voices. Absolutely book this tour and count yourself amongst the very favored of Mo’ is your guide.

One of the best experiences! - It was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Moneabisi (Mo) was courteous, friendly and so full of knowledge. If you get him as your guide, you will see and learn more about Africa and Johannesburg than you thought possible.
