Lovely day in Rioja - We had a wonderful day touring Rioja with Matteo which included visits to three wineries and a delicious lunch. Matteo was friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. The wineries we visited had a variety of styles both in their architecture as well as their wines and each one was extremely enjoyable.

Beautiful Day in Rioja - We had a beautiful day in Rioja. Mateo was a terrific guide whose knowledge of wine is shown the wineries we visited. The tastings were high end premium wines. The lunch was very tasty and at a restaurant that had locally grown and sourced ingredients. We had a wonderful day!

Excellent Rioja Wine Day - We wanted to visit the Rioja wine region whilst staying in San Sebastian. The easiset and best option for us was a tour that included private transportation. So well worth it! Mateo picked us up on time right outside of our hotel. We started at a family owned winery and had a tour of the facility with a thorough explanation of their operation and wine making process. The next winery we spent about an hour and tasted very limited production wines as well as their privately made olive oil. Each of these wineries provided us light meat and cheese snacks. In between the second and third wineries, Mateo took us to a small town known as Laguardia with picturesque views. Mateo was very informative with history of not only the towns we drove through but also the wine of Rioja. The third and final winery provided us with an excellent and very filling Rioja lunch (be sure to not fill up on said previous snacks ...lunch was large but amazing). Mateo was an excellent driver and tour guide and we are very pleased we chose this tour for the afternoon!

Fantastic, no-stress day... - Fantastic, no-stress day led by Mateo. We learned so much from him about the Basque Country on the ride. The first two wineries showcased different types of wine from the region, and the third winery had a delicious lunch with very generous portions! Highly recommend Mateo and this tour.

Great tour of Rioja - Mateo was a wonderful host - very attentive and knowledgeable. We visited 3 amazing wineries, each with a different look and feel and each offering a selection of special flagship wines. To top off the experience, we were treated to a spectacular traditional Riojan lunch. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to enjoy some fine wines, good food, and a memorable day out in the countryside!

Exceptional wine experience! - This was the BEST tour we have experienced. We’ve traveled with wine destinations many places in the world and this tour was excellent. Mateo was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He answered our many questions, shared unique experiences, and went out of his way to make our day perfect. I recommend this tour whole heartedly!

Rioja ❤️ - We recently did a private wine tour in Rioja, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to San Sebastián. Our guide, Mateo, was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about wine, but about the entire Rioja region. Each stop was thoughtfully curated, and we never felt rushed. The wine tastings were very generous and paired with delicious local snacks—cheeses, chorizo, bread and olive oil. We also enjoyed a delicious 3 course lunch with a bottle of red. Despite the rainy weather, the scenery throughout the day was stunning. Every detail was taken care of, and we could simply relax and enjoy. If you’re a wine lover, I can’t recommend this enough.
