Fantastic, no-stress day... - Fantastic, no-stress day led by Mateo. We learned so much from him about the Basque Country on the ride. The first two wineries showcased different types of wine from the region, and the third winery had a delicious lunch with very generous portions! Highly recommend Mateo and this tour.

Great tour of Rioja - Mateo was a wonderful host - very attentive and knowledgeable. We visited 3 amazing wineries, each with a different look and feel and each offering a selection of special flagship wines. To top off the experience, we were treated to a spectacular traditional Riojan lunch. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to enjoy some fine wines, good food, and a memorable day out in the countryside!

Exceptional wine experience! - This was the BEST tour we have experienced. We’ve traveled with wine destinations many places in the world and this tour was excellent. Mateo was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He answered our many questions, shared unique experiences, and went out of his way to make our day perfect. I recommend this tour whole heartedly!

Rioja ❤️ - We recently did a private wine tour in Rioja, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to San Sebastián. Our guide, Mateo, was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about wine, but about the entire Rioja region. Each stop was thoughtfully curated, and we never felt rushed. The wine tastings were very generous and paired with delicious local snacks—cheeses, chorizo, bread and olive oil. We also enjoyed a delicious 3 course lunch with a bottle of red. Despite the rainy weather, the scenery throughout the day was stunning. Every detail was taken care of, and we could simply relax and enjoy. If you’re a wine lover, I can’t recommend this enough.

Amazing views, wineries, and host! - This tour was absolutely amazing! The attention to detail from Matteo was fantastic - he provided us with so much information on the history, wineries, and overall Spain! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a private experience in Rioja!

Matteo was an excellent... - Matteo was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and willing to share. Our tour of the country side was perfect and the wines were top notch. Lunch at our last winery was delicious. I would definitely do another tour with Matteo!!!

A must do! - Mateo was a fantastic guide- very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The van is deluxe and comfortable for the trip. We had amazing wines and took a bunch home. We learned about both the classic and modern approaches to Rioja winemaking, and the lunch was delicious and the wine never ran dry!
