Incredible mountain town tour! - Adonis was an incredible guide for our tour. He drove us through mountain towns to the El Carmen coffee plantation where we had a tour of the coffee making process. The tour ended with a tasting and an opportunity to buy some coffee. Along the way, Ado was very informative, answering our questions and sharing information about the country and the people. He speaks English very well and was very patient with us if we wanted to spend more or less time somewhere. Would highly recommend this tour... but recommend leaving from San Salvador vs a beach town since it can be a longer drive.

Don’t hesitate. Take this tour with Raul! - What an enjoyable, fun and informative tour! But, above all, the thing that made it superb was the care and knowledge by our tour guide, Raul. He was phenomenal, kind and, I swear, he knows all things! Our lovely chariot was led by our driver, Pedro, who took us all around very safely. My family had so much fun and we now know so much more about this wonderful country. The tour was perfectly paced with a great lunch and many shopping and cultural opportunities. Not only was Raul extremely knowledgeable on historical facts, but he was an excellent photographer for our family, even climbing up on a railing to get the perfect shot! Book this trip. And ask for Raul. You won’t be disappointed.

A perfect opportunity to see multiple towns in the one day - Might not be for everybody but our tour guide made it worth our while! We visited a few villages around Ruta de las flores and every place was gorgeous but without any additional experiences it could be a little boring: get to a place, see the main square and a church or two, leave. However, our tour guide gave us options and we got to decide if we wanted to also visit a coffee factory, and we did, for me that was one of the highlights of the tour. The place we were taken for lunch was another highlight: great view and delicious food with creative local names! Also the souvenirs in the towns we visited were amazing and very cheap, I got adorable earings with real roasted coffee beans for a price close to nothing! All these experiences wouldn’t be possible without our tour guide Miguel because he knew exactly where to take us to have the best time!

Food on the flower tourd. - The visit was very quick. A bird's eye view. Of 5 villages offered we only saw 4. One was under renovation and I wouldn't have given up time either. Time wasted at lunch, it would be better to suggest taking a Lunch Box and eating on the way as it is long. Lunch in a very nice and elegant restaurant but without typical food and threatened with Andean music (in El Salvador?). I resisted eating there, and faced with my initiative to go to eat cassava with chicharrón (as I should) kindly took me to the local market and our guide Adonis did not want to leave me alone and accompanied me. Knowledge of the proper tour mechanics and historical knowledge as well.

Not worth time or money - 4 was too many stops. The tour guide only had anything to say at the first stop. The second one he read some information off a sign but other than that was just along for the ride. After the second stop I was ready to go home. To me was a waste of a day of vacation. Would have been okay if it was half a day but a whole day was not worth it. The group I was with shared the same opinions.

Too long a trip that isn’t living up to expectations - This was a 9 hour trip. It should probably be a 4 or 5 hour trip. The 3rd village (the farthest one) is the nicest and 2 villages are more than enough. It shouldn’t be described as a coffee plantation trip as it’s misleading. You stop at a plantation, get out of the car see it and come back. 5 minutes of the 9 hours. No meaningful historical or cultural explanations.

A disappointing day trip to routa de flores - The trip was too long due to pick ip and drop off from different locations. One of the small towns would have been enough. The guide’s english and his ability to explain was limited. Even though the coffee plantation is part of the title of the trip he did not take us to any on his own. When we asked him he stopped by the road to show us a coffee tree. It was not worth to invest a whole day in it. I don’t recommend it
