Ocloyas - From the capital city we will enter a route where the rural mixes with pristine nature. The journey will take approximately two hours to reach the town of Ocloyas. Along the way we will make different photographic stops in rivers and waterfalls,
Upon arriving at Ocloyas we will visit the historical part, and its church which dates back to the mid-17th century.
Ocloyas - From Ocloyas, we will head through the montane jungle towards the Angosto de Catre, to reach this site we will go partly by vehicle and partly on foot. The descent to the river will be using ropes, we will walk through the cold waters of the Catre River between limestone walls from the Tertiary period. We will enjoy the energy of the water and the singing of the birds.
In Ocloyas we will have lunch.
Tilquiza - In the afternoon we will arrive at our overnight location.
On foot with our backpack we will walk almost 2 km through the mountains to enjoy pure nature. Here at El Quirusillal farm we will spend the night.
Hiking through the heights
Tilquiza - At dawn we will enjoy a rural breakfast, to prepare ourselves for walking through the forest throughout the day.
It will be a walk according to the characteristics of the group, the objective will be to enter the forest while we ascend to the mountains that do not exceed 2200 meters above sea level. The walk crosses narrow paths through forests and jungle vegetation, crossing rivers and small waterfalls.
Lunch will be provided in the morning and in the middle of the day we will enjoy it in the middle of the forest or in the heights enjoying the flights of the local condors. The descent will be another walk crossing rivers and streams interpreting the landscape and its biological importance.
Upon returning to our cabin we will enjoy a hot infusion with delicious artisan breads, if you like we can participate in the making of the breads ourselves.
We will have time to rest or be able to observe local birds.
In the evening we will enjoy a delicious dinner and then rest.
Rest and Creole barbecue
Tilquiza - At dawn and after breakfast we will have time to rest and explore the River to enjoy its cold waters and discover unique landscapes contemplating local birds such as the torrent duck.
Back at the establishment we will enjoy a delicious Argentine beef roast with salads and seasonal vegetables. We will accompany the roast with a regional wine.
In the afternoon we will prepare to make the last walk to our support vehicle to begin the return to the city of Jujuy.
The day ends at approximately 6 pm in the capital city.

This corridor is known as the Huella Gaucha Jujeña. Creole natives plowing farms through steep mountains along with their local traditions and foods. The walks will be enjoyable, interpreting the native nature and its healing power, as well as observing endemic birds. We will enjoy two days through landscapes and roads with a local guide and a vehicle for private use. The second day will be on foot through exclusive jungle landscapes.
