Great time! - Awesome full day. We had a great time with our tour guides who spoke French, Spanish and English. Saw some beautiful beaches. Be advised this is more of a boat/beach trip rather than 'real' snorkeling.

Super Tour Operator - Recommended - - We chose this tour company because of positive reviews from other travelers, and we were not disappointed. The team speaks several languages, including French, which is a great advantage. The contact, whether online or on site, was impeccable. They are there to advise you and especially to help you. For example, if you need a taxi, do not hesitate to ask them; they will take care of it without any problem. Know that the boat for this excursion, is a motor catamaran, which allows to go into the waters closer to the sand and avoid quite a stir. There is obviously Rum Coke on board and music. Not to mention the super friendly crew. Know also that this exclusion is planned to take care of your hotel until the end of the day upon return to your hotel. The excursion we chose was the "Saona Attitude". The price was reasonable and the crew extremely friendly, with a dedicated photographer on site (with also a nice price). What is really appreciable is that we do not follow the same routes as the big tourist boats and we do not land in the same places. This allows you to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more personal experience. Also I must add that the excursion does it in small committee, everything depends on the day. We could see the mangroves (even if we would have liked to cross one or two, it would have been perfect). We landed on the island of the Doctor or visited Mano Juan on the island of Saona, where we discovered the village and turtle nursery. We also enjoyed a good meal in the company of the crew and especially a magnificent view. Then we took the direction of the natural pool to observe turtles and starfish; unfortunately we did not see starfish and only briefly saw turtles through the water. But it was still a great experience. We then took a swim break before returning to Bayahibe by motor catamaran accompanied by music. In summary, this tour was great and we highly recommend it for those looking for a more intimate and well organized experience. A pleasant trip with nice people - What an excursion! We were welcomed as soon as we arrived at the agency. Once there, we were guided to the port of Bayahibe where we boarded the boat which would take us to the different expected destinations. A short hour's journey full of alcohol (for those who drink it), good music and dancing to reach the first destination: Canto de la playa. Beaches with scarlet water await you, with snacks and drinks if you fancy them. A good opportunity also to do a little snorkeling and observe the different sea creatures. During this trip, Vicky, the photographer will be able to take your photos, just ask her with a smile. Next direction: lunch on the beaches of the village of Mano Juan. Expect good, varied dishes suitable for all tastes, but not only that... Right after, Andy, the guide will explain the history of the island and guide you to the turtle incubators (if you have If you're lucky, you'll see little baby turtles). After a short swim, you will head next to Isla Catalinita to see turtles and then to the natural swimming pool, where you will have the opportunity to see starfish and other types of sea creatures. On the way back (and throughout the trip for that matter), Gregory, the sailor and Andy, will serve you snacks and drinks and you will finish your excursion by dancing to good music if you wish. ABSOLUTELY MUST-DO! - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! My husband and I went to the DR for our honeymoon and this was the first excursion we did. The crew on this tour was absolutely awesome (shoutout Christian, Congolito, & El Capitan!!) There was no shortage of rum & coke, good music, and good vibes on the boat ride. Upon arriving to Saona, we were given enough time to snorkel and enjoy a delicious lunch. Then we saw some starfish towards the end of our tour and overall just had such a blast. I would make sure to do this tour again if we ever find ourselves back in the DR.

Great discovery with an agency to recommend - Superb excursion with Christian, Vickie and the whole team. A beautiful day with French-speaking people, for wonderful landscapes, lots of vitamins, unforgettable memories in small groups. The organization is impeccable from your pick-up at your hotel until your return in the evening, you don't have to do anything, they take care of everything. No forced sales, no stress, only smiles and good humor during this outing.

To do !! Wonderful place to discover - The activity went perfectly, the day was very well supervised by our wonderful French-speaking guide Christian who was able to explain everything to us. The transfer from the hotel to and from the hotel was punctual. We had a very pleasant time.

Unequivocal 5 stars. - The visit was definitely worth it. We had a lot of fun with a good group of all ages. Christian and his team did a remarkable job. The pre-tour service is also excellent; quick responses by email. We much prefer to see the fishing village, the turtles, the starfish, swim in the natural swimming pool, enjoy an almost private beach for a couple of hours while snorkeling than to spend 6-7 hours on the beach.

Absolutely amazing experience - It was amazing! We even saw dolphins on the trip to Saona. The guides in the office were so nice and respectful! We originally booked a trip for Monday, but I felt a little bit sick, and they allowed me to reschedule for another day when I feel better. They also helped me and recommended some medicine. I did not pay anything until we went on the tour. Then a few days later, we went on the tour and saw dolphins. The stops were amazing, and the guides were really entertaining, looking after all customers. They also offered so much food and drinks. I've been on a lot of tours, but this was one of the best experiences until now. Thank you so much! Don't hesitate to book the tour.
