A must!!! Highly recommended. - We had an awesome tour guide. Her name was Roberta. Absolutely informative, clear concise very thorough. Easy to understand easy to communicate. She was very friendly. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you love parmigiano Reggiano cheese and prosciutto. What was also great about this tour is that it was private and you moved at your own pace. A MUST!!!!!

if there is one thing you do in Parma, this should be it - if there is one thing you do in Parma, this should be it. this was the most informative, interesting and educational day - and it included one of the best meals as well. Michelle is so good at imparting a lot of information in an interesting way. she answers all questions. Takes pictures to document the journey and makes it a truly lovely experience. This tour takes you to several locations so you see the countryside and learn about the local culture. I cannot recommend this more highly!

THIS is the tour you want to book! - Our experience on this tour (last week) with our amazing guide, Lisa, was simply amazing! We booked the option with transportation included to and from Parma, and the entire day was seamless. We were first taken to a Parmiggiano Reggiano dairy and we were able to watch the entire process right there on the production floor with the cheese master and his experienced crew. It was simply incredible to watch - these people are true artists and watching them work mostly in silence with everyone just knowing what to do at all times was SO awe-inspiring. Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable about the entire process and was able to explain the ins and outs and whys down to a granular level. She kept things interesting and engaging for my two kids (10 and 11 year olds) and was so patient with them, even when they were being rowdy in the van. The tasting at the end of the production tour was also great, as we were able to taste the cheese at different stages of aging. From there we went to the Prosciutto di Parma factory - we were there on a Sunday, so unfortunately, we weren't able to see the production process (they only work on week days), but we still enjoyed walking around and looking at all the rooms and equipment and of course, the many Parma hams! Lisa brought the process to life for us with all of her extremely detailed descriptions and again, answered all of our many questions thoroughly and enthusiastically. After the tour, we tasted different varieties of ham and met the sweet owner and her daughter, and it was awesome to chat with them. We could not have asked for a better guide or a better tour. Two weeks in Italy and now that we're back home, this is the experience we're all still talking about. Also big shout out to Michelle, who was very responsive and helpful before the tour. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! I'd give ten stars if I could.

One of those don't-miss experiencess - Roberta Morese was an amazing tour guide. Her in-depth understanding of the production processes for both Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma made our experience as enjoyable as possible. Her language skills were remarkable, and that added to our enjoyment. We couldn't be more enthusiastic about our recommendation for this activity. It's one of those "don't miss" experiences for first-time visitors to Reggio Emilia.

Local Tour of Parma - Our guide, Lisa was fantastic. She provided a lot of historical knowledge about the making of parmigiana reggiano cheese and the process to cure Parma ham. She was friendly and engaging and the tour was fantastic. It gave you a great sense of pride about these family-owned business's and their contribution to the local economy. I visited with my two sisters and would highly recommend the tour to other families and individuals.
