Very local small batch coffee tour. - Our guide was Axel. His english was excellent and her really taught us a lot about being Guatemalan. We met Cristobal, the coffee farmer and walked uphill for about 20 minutes to where his coffee trees were. We learned about a lot of different crops, but mostly learned about how work intensive it is to grow small batch coffee. I would strongly recommend this tour over one of the coffee farms. You get to see a real piece of Guatemala, and it helps the coffee growers too. Wear closed shoes as you do walk up a rocky dusty road.

Great knowledgeable, hands-on tour - The tour was organized very well. There is a guide with the company as well as a local coffee guide. You take a walk throughout the city, and the local guides are very knowledgeable and answer any questions. It is about a 30-minute walk slightly uphill to get to the visiting coffee plantation where you learn a lot about the entire journey and the history of coffee roasting as well as a personal story of the local guide, who is a farmer as well. You end up at the farmer guide's house, where you can separate, filter, and roast the coffee beans yourself from scratch, and drink it. The coffee is fresh and delicious. Bring cash if you would like to support local farmers and buy their coffee. This company has a great partnership with local businesses and focuses heavily on supporting the surrounding Guatemalan community.

Coffee tour on Christmas Day - We booked this on Christmas Day and learned so much about coffee. On top of the coffee trees, we also got a taste of the random fruits in the area. The whole process of making the coffee at the house was so much fun with hands on experience. After the coffee was made, we sat around the table, tasting the coffee and chatted about random things. Definitely recommend this.

Lovely, Memorable, Educational - Axel and Marta were wonderful hosts and tour guides. We learned more than we could have asked for about coffee growing and processing. We are grateful to have had such an authentic experience and we would highly recommend to anyone considering this tour.

The ultimate coffee farm tour - This is right at the top of my list of things to do if you’re visiting Antigua, it really is the ultimate coffee farm tour, and much more.
Axel, along with his brother, and Martha the farm owner, were the perfect company on this tour; the whole thing was incredibly informative, but felt so relaxed at the same time. On top of everything, we learnt about the fruits and flora along the path to the farm, and ongoing development of modern homes on nearby former farm land.
The tour as a whole is more than worth the price, and certainly so knowing the profits are split with the farmers. All with pick-up and drop-off to and from your hotel!
Can’t recommend this enough!

Great afternoon with delicious coffee! - Super interesting tour about coffee and its history in Guatemala. We hiked a bit to 3 different coffee farms, could ask loads of questions, and afterwards went to the farmer's house to traditionally roast and drink the coffee. Axel was a very funny host, fluent in English and could answer every question. The pace of the bike was very slow, fully recommend for an interesting afternoon. You can also buy coffee at the end of the tour.

Support a small farmer and see real Guatemalan life - Possibly one of my most cherished moments in Guatemala. The guide was kind and friendly and helped to translate all of my questions to the farmer. We got to see the process of coffee from bean to cup, the way it is done in villages around Antigua. We even got to go to the farmer's home to process the beans and drink the final result. Delicious! It was a small intimate group and they even helped me get to and from Antigua!

Excellent Tour! - My friend and I enjoyed this excursion so much. Our guide, Delmy was amazing. She was very thorough and her explanations of the production of Coffee and we met up with a young man named Cristobal who was a local farmer. He took us to a coffee farm and explained everything about the coffee plant And how they pick it, etc. etc. We ended up in his home grinding roasting and drinking coffee. So much fun! I recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in getting to see the real process of making coffee and it’s great to walk through the small town on the outskirts of Antigua. Beautiful place!

An excellent artisan coffee tour from bean to cup. - A very hands-on and up-close insight into the cultivation and production of artisan coffee. You actually get to toast the beans and drink the resulting coffee. Also a good opportunity to see and learn about the history of the town of San Pedro Huertas.
