Highly recommend! - A must do at Lake Atitlan, the sunrise was stunning and you could see all the mountains/volcanos. Our guide was very patient with us going up the mountain, and there was drinks and snacks at the top. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous sunrise hike - Great sunrise hike!! Really appreciate how communicative Vick was on WhatsApp and made sure we knew where to meet him. Also we were one of the first groups to the viewpoint, and got amazing seats to view the sunrise. The hot chocolate and sweet bread at the top was delicious. Vick was patient and let us take our time on the hike. It only took about 30 minutes to get to the top. He made the whole excursion a very smooth process. Would highly recommend!

A great day in San Juan with Vick! - We booked two back-to-back activities with Vick - a hike to the Indian nose at sunrise, and a bean-to-cup coffee tour. What resulted was a fun day in San Juan la Laguna - Vick is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He liked to stop and show us different aspects of nature during the hike. We also had the time to stop for breakfast before the coffee tour. The tour was around San Juan, so it was a great opportunity to walk around the town, learn about the coffee making process, and also taste some great coffee! We thank Vick for a lovely day he had organised for us - it felt that we were meeting up with a local friend who showed us around! We absolutely recommend getting in touch with him to make your stay in lake atitlan a memorable experience!

Unreal sunrise hike overlooking Lake Atitlan! - Thank you Vick for an amazing experience! This was a great way to start off our stay on Lake Atitlan. It was a bit difficult as it was my first day on the lake and I was not used to the altitude, but Vick was patient and very kind. We had a great time and enjoyed the hot chocolate and pastry at the top. Don’t miss out on this hike next time you are visiting Lake Atitlan.

Amazing private sunrise hike tour up indian nose woth victor - We did the sunrise hike with victor. We booked it late the night before on his own website and found his whatsapp number. I messaged him and he immediately confirmed the tour with us. All commmunication with him was great the night before. Prompt replies and answered all our questions. Scheduled pick up was 4am and he arrived at 3.55 (rare to be on time for guatemala). As it was a private tour we were taken straight up to santa clara where we started the hike. Victor gave lots of insightful information on the way up. We were one of the first 2 groups to the top ( the other also being a private tour) so had our pick of the best spots. We also had a good 15 mins of peace and quiet to admire the view before the masses of the big groups arrived. Hot chocolote or coffee and a sweet roll were included. The sunrise and views were stunning. We were also the last group to leave the summit so had the place to ourselves at the end. Overall highly recommend doing the sunrise hike, especially with victor in a private tour.

Definitely Book with Victor! - Great experience!! We understand now why the hike is so popular with tourists (and why there are many companies both local and online offering the tour) - the views at the top are pretty incredible. Victor was without a doubt the best guide for the tour, especially if you are looking to beat all the crowds at the top of the mountain. We were picked up at a pre-determined location near our hotel in San Pedro and driven to the start of the hike in nearby Santa Clara ~30 minutes away. The hike was on the steeper side but took only about 40-minutes - Victor made sure we had rest breaks and headlamps as it's dark on the ascent. We were the first group to arrive at the top of the mountain and we very much appreciated being able to have the top of the mountain to ourselves before the other tour groups and tourists arrived. Victor speaks English (and Spanish of course) and was very knowledgeable about his hometown and nearby towns, as well as history, culture, geography, local recommendations, etc. We had the longest time on top of the mountain and were the last group to leave, so again we had time alone on top of the mountain to appreciate the peaceful views. Victor and his driver were then kind enough to drop us off at a different location from where he originally picked us up so we could continue our morning (he made some local recommendations that my husband and I decided to try for breakfast!) We were back around 8 am. Absolutely worth it and loved supporting a local guide.

Great hike & great tour guide! - Victor was great! He was kind enough to organize and early morning boat pick up from Panajachel. The boat was on time and Victor was waiting for us when we got dropped off in San Pedro. The hike was short (only about 1 mile going up) but it is pretty steep for most of it. Victor was patient with the slower hikes and no one felt rushed. The views from the top were INCREDIBLE. When we were at the top we got coffee/hot chocolate and a pastry. Victor also taught us a lot about the volcanoes we were looking at and the towns. We would recommend this tour to anyone :)

Beautiful way to start the day - Victor was a wonderful guide! We added on a water taxi pickup from our dock for the early morning - they arrived on time. It was about a 40-minute hike up including rest breaks. We were the first group to the top of the mountain; it was so nice to have a peaceful moment before the other tour groups arrived. Victor shared history and facts and friendly conversation. He also led us down the mountain and away from the other groups so it really felt like we were on a special tour. He owns his own tour company and we were happy to support a local business. Absolutely worth it.

Guide never showed up. - Our tour guide, Vick never showed up for our sunrise hike meeting time at 3:45 am! We were extremely upset to have missed this experience and requested a full refund from viator. Vick did not answer the phone when we tried to contact him after over 20 minutes of waiting and multiple other tours coming and going with their attendees.
