Experience Cozumel with Miguel - What an amazing experience and all because of our guide Miguel. So very accommodating. He’s clearly the Mayor of Cozumel. This is by far the best value and fun time I’ve experienced on my several visits to Cozumel. I would highly recommend BUT you must request Miguel as your guide

A must do! - Goku was an amazing guide. He tailored our experience to our needs and wishes for the day, and imbued the entire day with his personal knowledge of the island and the wonderful places we needed to experience.

Great way to experience some of the island - We did this tour on Friday with Miguel. It was a great time. Punta Sur is amazing and we easily could have spent the day there enjoying it, but with only a few days in Cozumel it was nice to see all we could. The tour started with a Mayan dance and tequila tasting which was ok, but expensive and we did not buy any. We got to see the east side of the island and got a snorkeling guide in Miguel which was nice too. We were picked up in the "dune buggy" and then he took us to the first location and got a dune buggy for us to follow him in. The dune buggy we had is a manual transmission car with cut outs that is common there and we thought it was pretty cool. Luckily my husband can drive a manual or we would not have gotten far. A lot of people rent cars and see the island themselves, but we thought doing it with Miguel was better and would highly recommend this. We took another tour a couple days later and it was ok, but this one is way better.

Mexico Trip - Jorge was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable at every stop. He was very kind and respectful. My girlfriend and I visited for the first time, and we couldn't have asked for a better or easier experience. Jorge, our guide, picked us up, making everything so convenient and affordable.

Never Again - This excursion started off a bit rough and unfortunately stayed that way, throughout. The walk to the meeting point from the carnival terminal is actually quite a jaunt. We had a group of 29 and had reserved this tour MONTHS ago to ensure we all had space. When we got there to register one of our biggest groups wasn't on their list (im so glad they brought the confirmation with them!) So we had to scramble to get enough cars for everyone. They did accommodate us with some jeeps to make up for it. The "buggies" are stripped down and VERY dilapidated VW beetles. Be aware that you will have to know (VERY WELL) how to drive a manual as some of the gears were really persnickety. One of the people in our group actually broke down on the side of the rode and had to be picked up.
We told our guide that we HAD to be back on ship at 3:30 and we wanted be back in time to walk back to the ship (about a 15-20 min walk) and we wanted to shop a bit before boarding. He assured me he would drop us closer to the cruise port (they did not) and that we would be back no later than 3. This did NOT happen, more on that in a min. We finally got all in and ready to go after wasting an hour figuring all the things out- we went to our first stop which was a beach to snorkel. We did enjoy this stop but I think we stayed too long here with our late start. Next, was lunch...the lunch from hell. They were NOT prepared for 29 people for lunch- which again, booking months ago you would think they would be ready for us. We were here for 2 hours of our short time, they ran out of food, some of our party didnt ever even get served and most of us got sick from the food we did receive. We left here hot and hungry and frustrated as we were almost needing to get back to the port by now. We finally just left and went next to the Miyan Village which was by far our fave stop (only had time for the 3 , which is lame when the listing states SO many places) We would have spent the whole time here, deff a highlight of the trip. However, we didnt even leave here till after 3- then had a 20-30 min drive back to our stop- this is when we all started stressing. We raced back to the meeting point and got there at 3:30- when it was all aboard time. Mind you, we had a group of 29 , including several children and one handicapped man. This was the most stressful time of my life right here. They did NOT drop us any closer, even knowing that they brought us back late. We all had to RUN the 15-20 mins back to port knowing that we had already missed the all aboard time. We ran like our life depended on it. We got to the ship as they were pulling up the door at about 3:50. After a bit of back and forth they finally said we could all board and got on and breathed a sigh of relief.
I would never take this tour again! After spending several hundred dollars all we got was 3 stops, a mediocre lunch that made us sick , and a stress that we will carry with us for a LONG time to come. As well as not being happy that we couldnt do some Cozumel shopping. Please, PLEASE do your research before booking this trip!
