Great guide - I have done Food Tours all over the world including Greece, California, New York, utah france, costa rica. And they are all good in their own way but typically what makes the food tour is the guide. This one was no exception she was super nice to my family who has never done a food tour before so they didn't know what to expect. The food itself was very interesting and good and it is Mexican food however it's not the Mexican food that you are used to it is REAL Mexican food. Unique dishes such as a lemon-lime soup or a cactus quesadilla was on the menu along with your usual tacos and burritos, but with all home made ingredients/ organic. I think you will be surprised with how organic a lot of mexicans eat, since it is just the way of life there. There was an option to go to the bakery at the end but we were so full so definitely do not eat before you come on this tour. I'm glad that we got to do something like this because she took us to all of the local spots instead of just hanging out in the touristy areas. Like I said before i have eaten food everywhere so I didn't really care about that it was the guide that made this a really good tour. She said that she had another job as a teacher and I can definitely see that in her since she was very knowledgeable about the island and Mexico's culture in and of itself i have been to Mexico three times and I was still learning new things from the guide. Ella también me ayudó con mi español! Book this tour you will not be disappointed.

Super fun and unique - Extremely informative and insightful. Each tour is catered to what is available and open that day so its never fully the same! Our guide also said that any allergies or personal food preferences can totally be worked with.

The guide was phenomenal... - The guide was phenomenal and very knowledgeable. We got to experience 4 different local restaurants and a bakery. We got to experience local foods that we have never had exposure to and understand how they all tied to the local culture. Also made a stop at the local market so she could explain the ingredients used in these dishes. Very small group with great conversations throughout the tour. Highly recommend, a great way to see parts of the island you would never go to otherwise.

A ‘ MUST-DO’ in Cozumel! - Erin, our tour guide, was amazing! Not only did she provide knowledge about the food and the customs, she was very passionate aboutCozumel! She was engaging, friendly and funny and an awesome person to be around for 3 1/2 hours. Highly recommend this tour to get a taste of real Cozumel cuisine and to learn about the people! You’ll never see these places as a tourist!

Good guide, but expensive for what you get. - We liked Jerry, the tour guide. He was very personable and a good guide. We would give him a very good rating, however we felt the value for the amount of money we paid was not so good. This food tour cost more than most of the ones we have done at other locations, so we were expecting to be eating at nicer restaurants. The food we ate was tasteful, but simple. None of the restaurants had air conditioning, and we were hot.
