Before tours were available, Señora Martha’s sole aim was to cultivate fruits and vegetables for her family. She constructed a greenhouse and planted everything manually, but soon realized something was lacking: pollinators. Without bees, nothing would flourish.

That’s when she discovered the fascinating world of bees—and most importantly, the Melipona, a stingless native bee that coexists peacefully with the jungle. Over time, this passion evolved into a mission: to rescue hives.
