Fantastic tour for chocolate lovers - Our experience was led by Sam, a former pastry chef and obvious chocolate lover. We learned about the history of chocolate, and in particular, why Mexican chocolate is so darn good. We visited several local establishments which highlighted chocolate in its various forms. We highly recommend this tour! FYI, Sam made sure to have some gluten free options at our stops so I wouldn’t miss out on the experience at each location.

Learn about and taste Mexican chocolate dishes - Elisa was such a great tour guide! Her passion for her culture and chocolate was evident as she made the history of this food come alive. Her depth of knowledge was evident as she was able to answer all of our questions as well. The variety of chocolate presentations was great with something for everyone. Easy walking distance with all locations very near around El Centro.

So informative and fun! - Thank you Sam for such an incredible, interesting, and tasty tour. Sam has a breadth of culinary, cultural knowledge, and Mexican and San Miquel de Allende history. He was easy to talk to, gave us many local area tips which were very helpful. We’ve been on many TripA tours around the world and Sam Isaac is definitely a top tour guide, definitely request for him! Walking shoes not needed... - While our guide was knowledgeable and interesting, the title is very misleading. There is no "tour", we just went to 5 places all in one block. We wished we'd been told there were 5 courses, rather than a "snack". We had all eaten a late breakfast and everyone in our group left behind most of the food and drinks. It was all good - truffles, a full plate of enchiladas with mole, a large chocolate drink, then a chocolate croissant and finally ice cream! Just way too much in a short time.
