- Tres Raíces - Guests will be transported from San Miguel de Allende to one of the finest local vineyards in Valle de La Independencia, located about thirty minutes away. The tour will encompass the stunning winery, both inside and out, showcasing its distinctive character, impressive architecture, and breathtaking views. Visitors will stroll through the fields, inhaling the aroma of the vines and grapes (during the green seasons of spring and summer). Following this, the tour will proceed to the cellar where the wine is aged, providing insights into the production process. The excitement truly begins with a wine tasting session, where participants will learn about the wine’s structure while enjoying pairings with delectable meats, cheeses, and locally-made honey in a charming wine tasting room. Each wine’s characteristics and the best ways to appreciate them will be explored. Visitors will be captivated by the country’s viniculture and the region’s wine history.
Important: After the tour, guests will have 1 hour to further explore by dining at the vineyard’s restaurant, visiting the winery’s hotel, church, and shop, or simply wandering the grounds to soak in the natural beauty of the landscape. Welcome!

The event is set to occur at a premier local vineyard in the newly designated Independence Valley, located in the Guanajuato, Mexico region. This area is renowned as the birthplace of wine in America. The vineyard produces internationally acclaimed, award-winning wines and boasts a staff dedicated to exceptional service. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, the Chateau is expansive, featuring impressive architecture and adorned with exquisite art. This tour offers an additional hour after the wine tasting to enjoy the restaurant or explore the rest of the winery, including the shop, hotel, church, and numerous other attractions.

Find the "Fábrica La Aurora" Art & Design Center on Calzada de la Aurora street (without number). The white Toyota truck with the legend "Tres Raíces" on it, will show up 5 minutes before starting time right inside the parking lot next to a large sculpture of a bear and will departure sharp.

Wonderful! - These are excellent wines, the whites and reds are award winning, our young gentlemen guide was well versed in this vinyard and could answer any question. Interesting French egg shaped aging tanks! A must tour.

Excellent Experience - Friendly staff and very informative tour. It too long, not too short. Wine tasting at the end was very well run. Shuttle service to/from also very well organized. Nice staff and vehicle.

Definitely worth the trip to Tres Raices - As Northern Californians we are quite familiar with wine, so we were curious to see how the Mexican experience will compare, and we weren't disappointed. The Tres Raices Winery is something to see. It is very pretty/architecturally stunning and was interesting to learn how they farm above hot springs. The red wines are young but the Sav Blanc and Muscatel were clean, crisp and very good. Their host, Marcos, was very enthusiastic and informative and provided a very nice experience.

Mexican style wine tour - Small group vineyard tour which was very nice. Mini bus took us directly to the vineyard where the guide met us. Beautiful place and the guide was great. Personable and was well informed. Answered all of our questions. Nice small charcuterie platter with the tasting . The restaurant was very good and had enough time for lunch

Lovely afternoon at Tres Raices - Lovely way to spend the afternoon. Our driver met us promptly at La Fabrica Aurora for pickup. After about a 30 min drive - we arrived to the stunning property. We happened to be the only guests booked for the tour at this time - so had a great private experience with Marco. We walked through the grounds - and then into the production, bottling area and wine storage/barrel cellar. After the tour - we had our tasting which included a small tasting platter of cheese, fruit, meat and honey to pair with our wines. After the tasting - we had about an hour or so before our transport back so enjoyed a delicious lunch in the restaurant deck overlooking the vineyard.

Great Experience - Our driver met us at the designated spot on time and drove us in a very clean, comfortable van to the winery. He was very polite and answered our question about all of the construction/developments we passed.
We were able to leave our packages in the van while we toured the winery.
The Tres Raices winery was fabulous. New. Very contemporary. Lots of smart, techniques for irrigation and aging. The whole facility was beautiful.
Our guide, Armando, was very friendly and informative. Great personality.
The wines were wonderful. Not sweet - even the Rose!
On our return trip to San Miguel, we asked for restaurant recommendations. Not only did he suggest a fabulous steakhouse, he dropped us off there!
I would definitely recommend taking this wine tour with Viator.

Wine tasting and tour - Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. The wines were very good to excellent. The facility was beautiful. It would have been nicer if it was later in the season as the vines had no growth, but that will happen in the spring. We recommend this place.

Wine Lovers Dream Experience - Shuttle service excellent and beautiful vineyard. Wine making tour was also interesting. Wine tasting was very good with our guide explaining how different aromas can be detected in the different wines that we sampled. The accompaniments were plenty with grapes, cheese, bread and salami. We were a party of 5 and each of us had our own plate of snacks.

Hijacked by the Vineyard - Do not do this tour!!!! It is a major rip off they truck you to the Vineyard do a tour and taste some wine and then the guide, who works for the Vineyard wants a freakin tip! She is trying to send you wine! You never see this in Napa or Sanoma. Oh after the tasting they will not pick you up till three hours later ridiculous! They are forcing the Vineyard to use the restaurant because you are the middle of no where do not do this ever period.
