Don’t Miss This Tour! - Jalal Salazar of Follow Me Tours (in Calle Del Pueblito in San Miguel de Allende), was our tour guide for this excellent tour. Jalal is fluent in English, and she is a fully licensed and experienced tour guide. She has a passion for her job and she is an incredible source of information. She is personable, knowledgeable, professional and comprehensive. I came away from this feeling more intelligent about Mexican history and culture. We also signed up for the tour of Atotonilco with Jalal and Follow Me Tours. Atotoniclo is a few miles outside of SMA. It is a 17th century church which got SMA its UNESCO world heritage site status. It is spectacular. Often called the “Sistine Chapel of Mexico” because of its extensive ceiling murals, but different in style and purpose. This excursion included a stop for authentic “gorditas” too. I cannot say enough good things about Jalal Salazar and Follow Me Tours. 5 STARS!!!

5 Stars for Jalal - We really enjoyed Jalal. She made my Mom feel special and celebrated during the tour as it was her birthday. Jalal is passionate about her city and is excited to tell you the history, the traditions and the best places to visit and eat. SMA is a beautiful city.

Fantastic! - Jalal was very knowledgeable and engaging. She provided us with a photo from our experience as well, she gave us a list of recommendations for places to eat. I would definitely recommend this walking tour.

Highly recommended! - Great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable & we really enjoyed a good overview of this wonderful town. She spoke perfect English and went over & above to ensure that we have a great experience. There were just 6 of us on the tour today & it was very good to have such a personal experience. She also sent us information about places to dine & provided a lot of information on other experiences & tours.

Understanding the history - We've taken other walking tours in SM but this was the best hands down. Our guide, JB, framed everything in a historical context that goes back for centuries. We felt a new appreciation and understanding of what we were seeing. Highly recommended.

Historical-Cultural Overview with Aldo - Aldo was an excellent guide. He shared the historial and cultural aspects of SMA. There were tips in getting round, there was humor, there were a number of resting periods to accommodate the elevation and temperature. His English (and Spanish -- hee hee) was clear. I learned a fair amount about SMA in the time spent on the tour. Gracias, Aldo!
