Great combination of Mexican food and history - Omar was an engaging and very knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed his descriptions of the historical context for popular Mexican food. Good choices for restaurants. Fun tour, would definitely recommend.

Great Variety of food - All the food was delicious. Our guide, Omar was excellent. Very knowledgeable and patient. Would highly recommend this tour if you have children.

A highlight of our stay in San Miguel de Allende - Our tour with Elisa Torres. Her knowledge of the food and the history of San Miguel de Allende made this an incredibly valuable tour. We learned much from a local who's family history with the town goes back several generations and therefore had insights that most would not have. She was a joy to spend the afternoon with and a definite highlight of our stay.

Great food tour in San Miguel de Allende - Elisa was an excellent tour guide. She gave a wonderful history of San Miguel while we sampled delicious local foods. We also got the history of the foods as well. Besides a wonderful tour where all our questions were answered, Elisa provided recommendations for things to do while in SMA, other local places to eat and to shop. We had a lovely afternoon with lots of food both savory and sweet. We never felt rushed. Highly recommend!!!!

Take this tour on the beginning of your trip! - Omar was a wonderful host. He gave us a historical education of SMA while guiding us through Centro with tastes of a few regional dishes. He was patient and knowledgable and before he sent us off, he gave us a great route to explore and a couple of additional restaurant recommendations that were all amazing suggestions that we are still enjoying days later. The food we ate on the tour was fine but not exceptional, we wouldn't go back to any of the stops, but the tour was well worth it and we left satiated on all levels. Thanks Omar!

Don’t miss this food tour! - We really enjoyed our food tour and our guide, Omar is a fantastic historical story teller! We learned so much about the local cuisine and history of Mexico, would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Four enthusiastic thumbs up from my husband and I!

Learned a lot! - Tour guide (omar) knows his food history and also Mexican history. If you are someone that enjoys to listen to some history about Mexico and have good food you should give it a try. You get to try different variety of traditional Mexican food so worth the try. Still going to give it five star because we really liked it but first stop could be a bit better.

Omar is the best - Omar was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us some great historical facts and the food was very tasty. Churros were the star of the show!
