Omar was a wonderful... - Omar was a wonderful guide with interesting facts on the history of San Miguel and food.
We really enjoyed all of the food stops, very filling!

A Food Tour Not To Be Missed! - Our tour guide Omar was "on top of his game" all around. Omar was engaging and so knowledgeable about the history of San Miguel de Allende as well as all of the food we enjoyed on the tour. We loved the handout he gave each of us....showing us a bit of the teacher in him for sure. This was so helpful as he spoke about the history and the food of this region. We already knew a bit about SMA in general but Omar gave us some much more that we did not know which gave us a new perspective of the area throughout the ages! Highly recommend this tour and of course, highly recommend Omar as your tour guide.

Great food and history - Our guide was Elisa who was a multigenerational local. Provided a deep history perspective on where these local foods came from, how they were names, and how they got upgraded over time. We were full with just a handful of plates. Also got some good recommendations on good quality, small places to eat.

Good food and local history - This food tour provided the chance to stop at a few local restaurants and try some core Mexican favorites. Our guide, Omar, also provided a good history of the area and the complex history of Mexican food.

Amazing and wonderful experience - An amazing experience, the guide is very friendly, she is a bilingual woman who tells you the history of San Miguel de Allende, its festivities and more in great detail, I recommend it 100%

We were FULL - of information AND food! - Wow! We had a great tour with Vail - she shared so much culture and history with us in our relatively short time together. And the FOOD! We could barely eat it all, which made the price of the tour very fair, in my opinion. I have lived in San Miguel for 10 years and booked the tour for some guests. We all enjoyed it very much!

Elisa was great. She was... - Elisa was great. She was so knowable about all kinds of food . She had a great personality. All of the foods we tasted were very yummy …. Esp the churros and natural ice cream !!!!

Omar was a great and very... - Omar was a great and very knowledgeable guide! He gave a very comprehensive review of the history of San Miguel and Mexico. Would have left 5 stars except for 2 things:
The food was disappointing for the price. Very basic, of the tacos-chips-and-guacamole type variety.
Secondly was expecting a little more walking to at least one or two famous sites.
